"wonderful culinary experience! came to the late evening during the jazz-resistant. it was Saturday after midnight and there was no waiting line. our food came quite fast and it was delicious! They must try their oysters! the mouthwater was good! had red fish for the maintree that man thought was overdue, but I enjoyed it and thought it was perfect. I don't know what they're doing with their green, but they're the best I've ever eaten. the best! trust me, I eat a lot of green! I would come back how great that was there, but I also have to add our server! she said it was her first night, but I wouldn't know if she didn't tell us. beautiful lady with a great setting, although probably a long crazy night with jezzfest in the city. 100% recommended! P.S. also the servier plates were pretty."

The food was outstanding—served quickly and cooked to perfection. Our server, Ponce, was truly exceptional; he answered all our questions and made us feel incredibly welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant!

this place has a really cool mood and delicious seafood. I have jambalaya pasta and my only complaining was that it could have been spicier. great cocktails and what looked like a cool dach terrace bar, but we couldn't get up there because it was closed for a private party and definitely dessert.

I visited New Orleans craving a po' boy sandwich and some local beer, and I found both right here! Although there was a bit of a wait, it was definitely worth it. The food was fresh, and the beer was also freshly brewed! The atmosphere was enjoyable, making it a great spot to unwind and have a meal with the family. View menu

First time Nola traveler. Highly recommend this place. The outside patio is very pretty and cool. You can still experience the outside Nola life while getting a bite to eat. This was also my first time trying gator I loved it. First picture is blackened and fried. And the second picture is oysters the Mambo kind. They were excellent

So wait! every day we were here, this place had an extremely long line, but let me tell them it was so worth waiting! eating was delicious and gave them a real authentic taste of new orleans specialties! the oysters were a big hit in our group that we all loved the taste and could not get enough of them! the trinktassen are in doses with a painting on them and very unique! all the staff were friendly and made it a great time! so glad that we waited a long time and could experience this place!

Visited Mambo's for dinner with my daughter on 08/06/21. We were on a mini vacation coming from Miami, Florida and this restaurant came highly recommended by a New Orleanian friend. There was a 30-minutes or more wait time to get in but the food was incredibly delicious especially the bread pudding we had for dessert. The ambience was more for a younger crowd though. There was music, people dancing provocatively in the street, and majority were not wearing a mask. I love the food but not the environment. View menu

The renowned oysters were absolutely delicious! Although we had to wait a bit for a table, our server promptly took our order, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly given how busy it was. Our cocktails were served in unique cans featuring a drawing of the restaurant alongside a few other buildings on Bourbon Street—very impressive! Most of my group opted for pasta, and it was well-seasoned and delightful. The bread pudding made for a fantastic conclusion to our meal. Choosing Mambo’s was a great decision!

we arrived here during our labor day weekend stay and we are very happy! the staff was very nice and the food was fantastic! I had the oysters of the mambo and they had to die! perfect amount of cheese and soaked and perfectly grilled oysters. the bbq shrimp was another hit that I had a series of pech with bbq shrimp in nola since johnny 's white 's closed so I was thrilled to find some with a fabulous sauce (and not sick sweet or melass thick as coop 's.) the **** mary had exactly the right amount of worries and their picking green! we will definitely make mambo a regular visit when we come back!
