Marie Callender's - Menu

The server we had was FANTASTIC, Fast and on top of things. The girls up front seemed to be upset and had an ATTITUDE as if we disturbed them from having an easy day of just talking. The restaurant experience is not what it used to be.

Went to have lunch there today and honestly good food and GREAT service! I was very happy with my visit going today! Our server was the best! She was on top of everything and didn?t have to ask her for anything it?s like she read our minds! Defiantly 10/10!

Everything was delicious! Although we had the standard menu and some cakes to choose from, we were only allowed to have cream cakes. They wanted to charge an additional $3 for each fruitcake. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was quite good. Our server was very nice. View menu

I've always loved Marie Callender's..who doesn't love a great pie? The food is consistently good and a varied menu is available. The staff are great, always pulling double or triple duty! No doubt that more staff are needed. They do a great job with thestaff they have. Again, the pies are GREAT! ????????????

The brunch was excellent. Everything was fresh and served hot. I would have preferred a regular sausage instead of the ahorn sausage, but it was still delicious. It would be helpful to have labels for each item instead of having to guess. Additionally, the salad bar could benefit from offering a few more options, as well as a greater variety of desserts.

I took my mom here for her birthday, we loved the food, especially the Marie's potpie it was delicious! Although the food was great, the service was terrible. The only checked on us once I had to call them a few times. Tbh I think it was a discrimination thing, we were definitely being ignored on purpose. Not only that, they brought us our pies In a to go box with the receipt and didn't even ask if we wanted it to go or for here it was extremely rude! Probably won't be going back to that location. The restaurant has changed ownership recently, and unfortunately, the service hasn't kept up. When I visited, there was only one cashier at the front, with no one available to seat arriving guests. I overheard a waitress telling the cashier not to seat any more customers because a new staff member had just started their shift. They were only seating guests in the bar area, even though the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. While I was waiting in line to order, I noticed several customers became frustrated and left because they were kept waiting. I much prefer the Marie's location in Glendora/Azusa; they operate much more efficiently.

My mom and I came on a Wednesday because she likes the older crowd and the buy one entree and two drinks, get a free entree coupons she gets via email. We've gone several times for lunch and I have been pleasantly surprised by the food. Honestly, I had low expectations but the food is pretty decent. My favorite is the shrimp tacos, healthy and tasty. This last time my mom got the roast beef dip sandwich, but she usually gets the roasted turkey plate. Also, on our last visit they were short-staffed so there was a little bit of a wait, but the waitress was calm, cool, and collected and I appreciated her responsiveness considering the circumstances. Marie Calenders started in my home town so it has a special place in my heart. Having said that the food was good as it has always been. The pies are tasty as ever. The staff was friendly and did a fine job. I think they need to prove and update the menu choices. Also the restaurant is still stuck in the 70's. Literally I get that their clientele is largely in their 50s to 80s but playing 70's music? Any light jazz would be preferable. I fear they are not going to be around much longer if they can't attract a younger crowd soon. Update 9/16/23 I had dinner with my wife at Marie Callanders tonight.
