"In our search for a new coffee shop, my sister and I stumbled across Maypop Coffee Garden Shop, and we decided to stop by one weekend. The outside appeared to be relatively unassuming, with a coffee shop on one side and a greenhouse on the other. Upon stepping inside the coffee shop building of Maypop, my sister and I were pleasantly surprised by the quaint, homey atmosphere. The multiple seats and room to chat gave the space a cozy vibe. After viewing the menu of various lattes as well as assorted baked goods, I ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk. The price was reasonable, and it tasted amazing, with a strong but perfectly sweet flavor. After a few sips, my sister and I walked over to the greenhouse with our drinks in hand. Inside, the greenhouse was beautiful, with light streaming in through the windows and the sounds of cheerful conversations filling the air. Different plants and colorful planters took up every nook and cranny. There were tables for both sitting to enjoy your drink and to display more greenery. Again, the prices were appropriate, so I purchased an adorable string of turtles and a lovely, white, ceramic pot to put it in. For green thumbs and beginners alike, Maypop is a great place to increase your knowledge and collection of plants, and the selection of food and drink encompasses all palettes. The unique concept of combining coffee drinking and plant shopping works wonderfully, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be going back there to satisfy my taste buds’ and garden’s needs."

Great cup of coffee! Cozy place, not much room if you want to sit. Nice nursery as well. They use a local coffee BluePrint.

Very cute, quaint little coffee house but the real gem is the greenhouse out back! Absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. A beautiful backdrop for Instagram photos.

Everyone was incredibly kind and very diligent in making sure covid procedures were being followed. My friends and I had to wait for some people to leave before entering since they were at capacity and they gave us cardboard hats to help shield us from the rain. I can't wait to get to go back! Maypop Coffee and Garden Shop is my favorite local go-to spot for all things green. They have a gorgeous greenhouse full of the most fascinating plants! You can also stop by their café first to get something to sip or nibble on while you plant shop. They have a great variety of pots as well! Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The coffee shop and nursery of my dreams! The rose tea latte was one of the best drinks I've ever had at a coffee shop. They offer a wide selection of vegan treats from Sweetart. I also made a terrarium in the nursery, and it turned out so adorable! The prices are reasonable and lower than many other nurseries I've visited. When you consider the experience and the cost, building a terrarium is a great deal!

The location is fantastic! The coffee choices they offer are delightful. The café has a charming layout, and I noticed several people working remotely inside. There are also outdoor seating options surrounded by beautiful plants. You can explore their greenhouse and browse a variety of plants for sale. Plus, there's a terrarium bar where you can create your own! It's a wonderful spot for a coffee or a date. Highly recommended! View menu

Fantastic coffee shop! I ordered the hummus with garlic toast, and it was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The hummus was delightful, and the combination of everything seasoning, olive oil, and the tomato-cucumber mix was amazing. I also got two drip coffees and a chocolate chip scone to complete my meal. The coffee here is excellent, though it is a bit pricey at $3.50, with refills costing $1.64, but it's still really good. The atmosphere is lovely, and the shop is wheelchair accessible, featuring a convenient lift in the back. There's plenty of parking available, and even a wheelchair-accessible greenhouse! I will definitely be back!

I have learned that I am not fond of hibiscus tea, but I believe that is entirely my distaste for hibiscus all in all, I was very happy with the place. Atmosphere was homey and lovely, staff was friendly and helpful and cheerful, and they have enough sense and experience to know you can't just add sugar to iced tea, but that simple syrup works fine. We took our purchases out front to nice tables with some surprisingly uncomfortable chairs, lol... there are better chairs inside. Our table was horribly crooked because one leg had lost a bolt and was not secured to the brace ring, but it seemed the only one in any disrepair. Wife had a parfait that looked awesome (see photos) and said it taste...

"I've visited here in the past, but it's been a few years. I fondly remember enjoying the family style dining. Most recently I ate here with a friend and it left a bit to be desired... They were busy when we arrived but my friend had made a reservation so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated in a corner booth type table. Friend is gluten free and we chose this restaurant as they offered gf pasta dishes. That did not disappoint. It was exciting to learn that all of their sauces are gluten free and they have a pasta offering as well. They had a special 2 for dinner special and we ordered that. We both selected salads, chicken fettucine alfredo and we had the caramel apple torte with ice cream on the side (ice cream is gf). I also asked if they offered a bread service and the waitress advised that they did. I was very excited for dinner! The food and service however were disappointing.... bread service arrived after the salads... There was confusion with the salads one was supposed to be gf, the other dressing on the side. Neither had croutons and both had dressing on them. The person delivering them was also confused with them and they gave us a bit of doubt about whether the gf portion of the meal would be accurate (this is very important when you have celiac). The pastas arrived and sadly they only tasted okay. I thought maybe it was a preference on my behalf but friend was also disappointed with the flavor. The sauce lacked flavor and texture.... I still had hope for the dessert but didn't care much for it either. The outer crust had a flavor I didn't care for and I didn't finish. The ice cream however was delicious! Service throughout the meal was sporadic but they were busy so we didn't think much of it. However when it was time for dessert and the check our waitress was ready and literally advised she would wait while i reviewed the dessert menu and made a selection. Overall, it was nice that they had multiple sauce offerings that were gluten free as this was a main driver of us choosing this restaurant, however based on food taste, I most likely would not return. There are too many other great Italian restaurants in st louis."
