"The staff was rather unfriendly. When I walked into the restaurant and approached the counter, the young woman gave me a look as if I were crazy. She didn’t greet me or ask if I was dining in or taking out—she didn’t say a word. Eventually, I had to tell her it was for takeout. Later, when I inquired about lemon for my tea, she said they couldn't cut any. I offered to cut them myself, and she told me the lemons were in the back. I simply replied “okay” and left feeling frustrated. It was completely unnecessary, and overall, the customer service was terrible!"

We went out for lunch, but the hostess let us know that the dining room was closed due to a lack of staff. She recommended that we order some appetizers instead. I found the menu quite confusing, and ultimately, I realized I didn't want to eat in the car. So, we opted to leave and try another restaurant.

The Mac and Cheese was absolutely delightful—it truly represents the essence of comfort food at its best. The Baked Potato is enormous and cooked just right. The King Club sandwich is stuffed with generous fillings and is bursting with flavor. My only concern is that the Lemonade could be a bit stronger.

I absolutely enjoyed the Country Potato Soup and McAlister’s Famous Tea! When they arrived, the soup was at the ideal temperature, and the tea was refreshingly chilled, with the perfect amount of ice. I will certainly be ordering from McAlister's again. The sandwich was quite tasty. I ordered the spicy turkey sub, which could have had a bit more heat, but overall, it was good. The avocado was ripe and creamy. However, the only letdown was that I ordered a 12-inch sub, but it felt like I only received half of it. I didn’t have a tape measure, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t 12 inches long.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, but I was disappointed during my visit last Friday. The staff seemed to be mostly idle, and the cleanliness of the booths, floors, and tables was lacking. Additionally, the condiment station, which should have had napkins, was cluttered with boxes. Going forward, my husband and I are likely to opt for takeout instead.
