"My wife and I went to Chester’s for my birthday recently and I have to say the food wasn’t stellar. It used be our place to go but lately seem to have kitchen issues. We ordered the special, steak and pasta Alfredo. It came out Chicken Alfredo.The pasta was over cooked and gummy and the Alfredo sauce should have been light and creamy but so thick we couldn’t eat it. They did give a refund on that entree though. We then ordered the salmon off the menu well done, we specifically told the waiter well done as that is the way we like it. It came out rare. Obviously they were having issue in the kitchen that night. This isn’t the first time going there as the time before that the sticky ribs we ordered one came out cold inside. The server brought out one and it was cold inside. On a positive note we have been many times but for the sticky ribs and they were great, we’ve have had the wings and they were good with no issue. They have a great bar area we alway sit there. We will wait to go back until they get some issues worked out in the kitchen."

"We got to sit and the harvest underground FANCY. in all seriousness the food was extremely good and well plated the down stairs bartender was our server as well and she was amazing personable and very quick with everything despite her working 4 tables and the bar alone. The atmosphere itself was cool upstairs felt homie and cozy but being asked to site down stairs gave off a bit of a speak easy vibe was super cool recomened to anyone looking for a fancy vibe at not super expensive for what it is for 2 drinks 2 on trays one being a special and 2 deserts was about $100. Again worth every penny!"

"I can't give a rating for the food at this restaurant because my group waited for over 20 minutes at our table before a server even acknowledged us. This was despite having made a reservation. The lack of attention, including not even offering water, made me decide not to wait for dinner. Overall, the service was rated as 1 out of 5 and the atmosphere was a 2 out of 5."

"We were thrilled to find that Misty Mountain Hops was open and eager to accommodate us. Aaron, our bartender and server, provided excellent recommendations for both food and drinks, which we happily followed. The fried deviled eggs were a pleasant surprise and a must-try appetizer. We also tried the buffalo dill pickle, which exceeded our expectations with its flavors and textures. For drinks, we ordered a 'Buffalo Trace' old fashioned and a red blend wine, both of which were delightful. My partner particularly enjoyed the wine, which was recommended by Aaron. As for the old fashioned, I would suggest replacing the maraschino cherries with dark sweet cherries to elevate the drink, especially when muddled. We also ordered burgers that were cooked to perfection - pink in the middle - and received friendly and hospitable service. The overall experience was wonderful, and we have since returned to try their wings, receiving the same positive experience both with the food and service. If you're in search of a local spot for a bite to eat and drinks, Misty Mountain Hops is a great choice. "A great local BBQ haunt to enjoy freshly smoked chicken and other mountain delicacies. Carroll's, like so many places right now, is under-staffed. They have instituted an incentive program for their waiters and waitressses, which is great. It took about 15 minutes to get seated on a Friday night--but that's expected. The menu looms large in the oversized entrance lobby, so you can take the opportunity to select some delicious fare. The prices are reasonable with plates and two sides costing just $12. However, there is a markup for premium meat like $2 extra for brisket. The half chicken is still just $12. The service was good and fast considering how busy it was. I ordered the brisket, and my wife, the chicken. When the plates arrived, I immediately regretted my choice. The brisket serving (despite the premium upcharge) was tiny. The sides were the in the wee paper trays like Long John Silver's. So that did not make up for the small meat portion. I would have left hungry but for my beautiful and compassionate wife, who pulled off some of her ample half-chicken to donate to the famine next door. This is obviously a non-corporate, non-franchise, mom and pop business, so I'd still go back. But in the interest of world hunger, I recommend ordering the chicken."
