Wow! When craving steak, I've been ordering the filet because it is sooo good. But geez, the ribeye deserves respect along with the salmon, tuna, lamb chops, and, last but not least, the broiled shrimp. The broiled shrimp is a dish you may not find anywhere else in the Columbia/Lexington area. I love it!! The aforementioned ribeye special came with mashed potatoes and collards, mmm. Anyway, when I leave The Med, I'm never hungry and usually thinking about what I'll order on the next visit. The staff members are very accommodating and sweet! Our experience at the Mediterranean Cafe was amazing! I have visited Israel many times and the dishes here truly capture the authentic flavors I love. The hummus, falafel, pita bread, baba ganoush, and kofta burger were all delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner at the Mediterranean Cafe in Lexington, SC. Yum!

There is no better place in Lexington, and maybe not even in all of South Carolina. I love that it is family-owned and local, and the farm-to-table freshness is amazing. My family eats here at least once, sometimes three times a week, and we never get tired of it. I always see people I know here. When I go on vacation, I always try to find where the locals eat, and this is the place. I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner in Lexington.
