"Really enjoy this place while in the area. Love the tapas concept and enjoying several different dishes. Great cocktail selection. The night we dined, 2 of us ordered the shrimp and lemon risotto. The only dish of the night that was a disappointment. Had to send it back the first time. The risotto was hard and not creamy. They redid the dish, but it too ended up bland and lifeless. No salt and pepper on the table, so we had to borrow a set from the serving station. That made it a bit better. Other dishes people enjoyed were the scallops, the lobster and pasta dish and the beef ragu. Soup special, asparagus and crab, was wonderful, as was the bread."

What an amazing gem in the outer banks!!! Highly recommend this place. The chef knows what he or she is doing! Get the asparagus soup!!! It lives up to its reputation. Will most definitely return!!

Food is delicious. But the plates are tapa sized and prices are entree sized. Service is not good as they only have a few tables and they try to turn over the tables quickly by rushing the diners. Everything about the restaurant is sophisticated, but antiquated in that they can't give individual or one-party checks. The group dining is responsible for dividing the check themselves. VERY old-school. Even small, basic restaurants can give individual checks. It really spoils the experience. I would have eaten more and had an extra drink if I wasn't worried about other people having to pay for it by dividing the check!! Pretty ridiculous, really...
