"Such a cute little cafe! Came here when heading up North and I am so glad I did! The cafe is super adorable. At the entrance they have books you can read while dining in. They also have a wide variety of pies! I ordered the spinach omelet with yogurt and grapefruit juice. The food came out relatively quick; everything was super hot and delicious. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful when ordering and checked in on us to ensure we were doing okay. The price for everything was VERY inexpensive. Breakfast for two was under $40! "While driving through town, we were searching for a spot to grab lunch and maybe catch a glimpse of the British Open. The Northern Divide is located within a golf clubhouse and has a distinctly cozy 'northern MN' vibe, complete with a fireplace, stone accents, and log cabin walls. I decided to go with the soup and salad lunch special. The chicken and dumpling soup was hearty and served nice and hot alongside oyster crackers, although it was a bit on the salty side. The garden salad was fresh, featuring ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, though the onions were a touch overwhelming. The croutons could use improvement; they were soft and would have been much better if they were crispy. There was an extensive selection of sandwiches, and my husband opted for the Club, which he enjoyed along with some kettle chips. Overall, it was a nice lunch, and the service was excellent. We also relished the beautiful views of the golf course from the clubhouse."

"Came here for lunch. The good news was they have gluten free bread for sandwiches so the wife was happy. Honestly this would have been five stars except for the interactions with the front counter people. They seemed like they didn’t really want to be there and messed up the order a couple times. Just didn’t really get a good vibe out of them. Good on the other hand was very good and worth the money you pay for it."

"Table service was fabulous, our waitress was very friendly and she greeted us and told us about the daily specials. She recommended items that she enjoys herself. I went with the boneless garlic parmesan wings and they were phenomenal! I was there on a Thursday evening about 5:30 pm, there was seating available, but not many left. They are busy and they are able to keep the traffic flowing. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The atmosphere was family friendly considering it is a full service bar and restaurant. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food options. Parking: They do have onsite free parking lot, be careful as there are some potholes. Also, the lines for the parking spots are nonexistent so some of the vehicles can take up multiple spots. There is also two entrances into the bar and restaurant, either is fine to enter."

"Great food, awful service! To start, if you are planning on taking a large group (8 or more) here, they will place a 18% service charge on your ticket. This wouldn't necessarily be an issue, however, they did not inform us of the charge until after we had all finished our meals. Don't get me wrong, the food was great, but they had no right to wait until we had all eaten to tell us this important information. To add to this, the servers rarely checked on us. We were one of three groups there and most of the staff was standing around. They did not ask any of us for refills except for our one group member who ordered a root beer, which is apparently the only soft drink they charge for refills on. When it came time to pay, we split the check. There was 4 of our 9 members on one check and it was over 90 bucks (we all ordered a burger, or sandwich, and fries). We paid with an 100, and asked for our change. The server did not bring our change back to us and then seemed flabbergasted when we asked again. It was a great place food wise, the service was just simply unacceptable."
