"Traveling through Richmond with my husband who eats gluten and dairy free. We found Ming's Dynasty and ordered the vegetable lomein and were prepared to expect the usual sub par soggy rice noodles with few vegetables. Not! We got a healthy and copious amount of a variety of broccoli, corn, snow peas, bok choy, nearly blackened mushrooms all delicately and mildly seasoned to perfection. All was perfectly cooked. Our one decent Chinese restaurant closed in Baltimore and we've been so disappointed here ever since. How refreshing to enjoy such a nice meal today. Sweethearts at the counter and behind. So good thank you!"

Nothing fancy, just decent Chinese at a reasonable price. Hit and sour soup is pretty good.

They used to be a great place to eat, the food is now very greasy, and tastes of old grease. Not palatable at all.

The interior is nothing fancy, but this is our favorite place for takeout. The service is quick, and the food is excellent. View menu

Very strange atmosphere and service asked to dine in and the guy seemed very surprised, but the food made up for it. Very good!

This was the first time eating here. The worst food ever. The egg roll was horrible and looked like it was old. The shrimp fried rice was greasy. I won't be returning!

I love Ming’s! We go here any and every time we want Chinese food. It’s priced right and taste like authenticity. Funky hours of operation but this is our go-to for fried rice, lo mein, and sweet sour chicken. Love the guys working in the back! Every time I walk in they greet me even when their phones are ringing off the hook for DoorDash. View menu

Never disappoints! The food here has always been excellent. I usally get my usual chicken fried rice. With egg drop soup. An on lunch mostly. The taste of the rice is excellent. The food is excellent. An the price lunch special is very reasonable. Portion size for the lunch special is very good. An for the price under 10 bucks(lunch special). Is awesome. I have nothing bad to say about this place

5 stars!! This is my first time eating here and my food was ready quick and the food was great. I got the orange chicken with white rice and the beef Lo mein. None of the meat was chewy. Good portions. The broccoli was very fresh tasting, flavor was great. No negatives. Excellent!! I will be back again.UPDATE: I went back again and got the chicken pad Thai as well, very food flavor. This is definitely my new and only Chinese place to go to.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
