"This is the second time I've encountered the same problem at this restaurant. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza but received one with green peppers instead. When I called to report the mistake, I had to drive back to get a replacement. The staff member behind the counter was unhelpful and gave me attitude when I mentioned it was my second experience like this. He simply placed the replacement pizza on the counter without any courtesy. To make matters worse, the replacement was a small pizza instead of the large one I originally ordered. While the food is good, the customer service leaves much to be desired."

Wow, the food is amazing here. I just found them again because they used to own a place in my town. Now they own this and brought the great food and family love to Thornwood. They really use fresh ingredients and it shows in the taste. View menu

Wow! I was so surprised! The pizza and greek salad was delicious. I asked for thin crust and I got it with no problem. Just like pepe's pizza they have lunch special as well. I seen meat balls the size of my fist. New York always makes the best pizza ever.

Our go-to Italian establishment. Always the friendliest wait staff, and food is ALWAYS great. We got to the place around 8:15pm on a Saturday night, and I was sad to see it was empty. I feel like not many people know about this amazing place for food, and you will always get the feel like the waitstaff is your family.

I really adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and they even have their own brand of root beer and other sodas. Everything is authentic Italian cuisine, made in-house. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their food and the overall experience; it reflects in the atmosphere, the dishes, and the friendliness of the staff. No matter your reason for visiting—whether you're alone, on a date, with friends, or bringing kids—you won't be disappointed. View menu

This is the best Italian Restaurant in the area. The place is not fancy, but modern and spotless. The waitresses are so nice. The food is like Arthur Avenue and the pizza is the best. The broccoli rape is OMG fantastic. We go here or take out at least 2x a month. There are a ton of mediocre Italian restaurants and pizzerias in this area. I wouldn't be surprised if they left some of the less stellar reviews. Try this place trust it is fabulous like the great majority of the reviews state!

This pizza is absolutely incredible! The Nonna pizza, the regular pie, and the chicken scarp pizza are all fantastic! Wishing the best for this wonderful family! It's important to support local businesses! The staff is extremely friendly, the restaurant is bright and inviting, and the food is genuinely delicious! The ingredients are beautifully prepared, and the flavor combinations are spot on. Their portion sizes are generous, and the pizza truly is the best! Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm so glad I decided to stop by! I highly recommend this place!!

"I feel like I don 't have the words to adequately describe the experience of dining at Blue Hill, but as far as I am concerned, if you are passionate about food, you must go. The setting is lovely and the service is extraordinary, but it is the quality of the food itself and the creativity of the menu that is awesomely exquisite. Everyone connected with Blue Hill is committed to excellence and it shows in every aspect of the evening. There is no menu, so don 't expect one but be willing to tell your servers what you like/don 't like, will eat/won 't eat. They will ask. Then they will begin to serve you from their seasonal selections. The wine list is incredibly comprehensive and the speciality cocktails are wonderfully innovative as well as delicious. Not surprisingly, the restaurant is astronomically expensive and so if you are new to the restaurant, you should be prepared. The staff are messianic in their approach to food and their mission is to educate those who are interested. They are more than happy to explain what you are eating, how it was harvested, where it came from, how it was prepared and to elaborate upon the virtues of Barber Wheat, named after/conceived by the chef, Dan Barber in cooperation with others, I believe. To me, this is not dinner out at a nice restaurant, this is an experience, and it is one that I think needs to be repeated to get the full benefit of all there is to offer. And for those who have heard that you will be fed a single radish, or an asparagus spear, that is correct. It is shocking to have them bring out a service piece that looks like a board with nails sticking up through it on which are perched that individual radish, a baby carrot, an asparagus spear etc. which you are expected to eat and with which you are expected to be satisfied, but the vegetables are delicious and after many, many more offerings, you will be astounded to discover you are sated when you leave."
