"I nice place to dine at if you are looking for a more elegant place to spend your night. (It’s not too fancy that you need to dress really formal though; you can still see groups of friends gathering here for a chill night) I enjoyed the starters more than the entrée. I gave this place 4 stars because the scallops and steak and the duck are too salty; the flavorings covers the original sweetness of the meat. Nevertheless, all the other dishes are really well-made. The flavors are exquisite and special you can taste how the chef has spent efforts on developing the menu."

I would have expected more of a michelin star restaurant. had an salate where the salate was seasoned and dried end pieces, and the bouillabaisse, which was incredibly hot and tasted like unloved tomato sauce. would have liked to give a good rating, but can't.

Service was friendly and professional. Unfortunately our NY steak (ordered medium rare) was over-cooked, tough and leathery. In fairness they eventually offered to replace it and didn’t charge for drinks. Just feel that at ~100 bucks they should be able to get it right first time. Everything else was good.

with my workmates stopped for dinner. very recommended and I had never had such an amazing seafood, wagyu, apps and gloomy. we ordered crabcake, grilled otopus, oyster for apps. super delish. we have shared wagyu steak, scallops and artic char fillet. steak and charfilet were amazing desert brot pudding and crème brûlée! the best of all time. Every plate was a work of art and had the flavors to back it up to. The onion soup and octopus before the meal were phenomenal! The wagyu was perfectly cooked and the flavor was to die for. The filet mignon was perfect and the potato and oyster mushrooms with it brought the who plate together. The creme brulee and bread pudding were a brilliant way to finish the meal. Overall a wonderful experience and I will happily go again.

a must experience restaurant in monterey, ca. the food was delicious! service was first class! the restaurant is beautiful in the inner! newly renovated with comfortable seating and an interior design that makes it amazed! my party and I promise to return to montrio bistro at the next visit this beautiful city on the beach! pity if you jump directly into the desert! the brotpudding is the most delicious dessert I have ever tried!
