We arrived on a Friday around noon to find that the parking lot was completely empty. This is often a bad omen for a restaurant.

The food was good and the waitress was very polite. Good home cooking and value for the money. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. It had a foul odor, there were flies on the tables, and some of the staff were quite rude as soon as we walked in. One waitress even said, "If you're going to eat, then SIT!!" in a very unpleasant manner. I don’t understand how it received such a high rating. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. This is a place to eat and run. Food is homemade good. Meatloaf sandwich was the best I have had, made with a thick slice of tasty meatloaf between two pieces of white bread and smoothered in brown gravy, served with fries. Biscuits in sausage gravy were good, not the greatest like in the south but good enough for tying over a hankering for it. Service was really fast and friendly. Stop by for a bite, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Drove 25 minutes because this place sounded wonderful. Our breakfasts were ok but nothing to write home about. We had an everything omelet and a Nellie 's breakfast '. The everything omelet was large but nothing special. The home fries were terrible. They tasted like they were made a couple of days ago then frozen! Nellie 's breakfast was ok also. The slice of ham was good with nice flavor and a nice size. As for the interior, it needs cleaned and a freshening. Bathrooms were gross. SOME of the pictures on the website are deceiving ! There combined breakfasts showing 1 person and a very large breakfast. This is just my 1st time impression. Maybe it was just a very off day. Finally our waitre...

This place does not offer home-style cooking at all. The machine-pressed burgers are tough and difficult to chew and digest. The fries are frozen, lacking salt when served hot, and taste very bland. For $12.50, it’s simply not worth it! I suspect the potato salad is store-bought and that the onion rings are also frozen, just like the fries. If you're looking for home-style food, they should be making fresh, handmade patties and hand-cut fries. It's not complicated, and it would attract more customers.
