"We came on 4th of July and were grateful it was open as virtually everywhere was closed or closed for dine in. Just a heads up, the online menu isn't updated and some items are not available anymore and have been blocked off the menu once you get to the restaurant, like lard nar. Overall the food was good. We ordered all veggie dishes and a few had a weird fish taste , not sure if it was cooked in the same pots and not cleaned well in between dishes. It seemed clean but a bit dated. We would go back."

The food was wonderful, and the sangria was spectacular. I ate way too much and I'm now in a happy food coma. ????

The food is nice. But it?s not many, for a normal American will not feel full. I order the curry, the source and the meats are nice! But the rice is some part of disappointed. They should cook rice more well. That why I give 4, not 5 stars. View menu

I adored the abundance of plants in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant! The food was both delicious and fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service on a Saturday night. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long afternoon at the zoo.

The food is good, but the portion sizes are not very filling for a typical American. I ordered the curry, and both the sauce and meats were delicious! However, I was disappointed with the rice; it could have been cooked better. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

So disappointed at the food i got, no taste, super bland washed out veggies, old carrot pieces, and the tofu tested like it went bad, I really hope i wont get sick. Worst thai food i've had in my life.Vegetarian options: Tofu tasted like it went bad, bland washed out veggies, old carrot pieces. View menu

This place is absolutely amazing—definitely a 12 out of 10! We ordered the Tom Kha soup, Noodles Nines, and Panang curry, and everything was bursting with flavor and delicious! I highly recommend it! Additionally, the owner has gorgeous plants and is incredibly kind. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Delicious! Fabulous service and food. We ordered from the same Thai restaurant for years, then one afternoon, our regular restaurant was closed and NINE THAI CUISINE was the closest Thai restaurant. We tried on a whim and so glad. I will ONLY order from this restaurant when the Thai craving strikes (which is weekly now). Thanks for everything NINE THAI CUISINE!Kid-friendliness: My kids love their rice and fried tofu. Picky eaters!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
