"First and foremost, the staff at this restaurant is exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I visited for a maternity photoshoot and ended up ordering a wide variety of food. In my experience, the diner classics—such as pancakes, chicken fried steak, hamburgers, fries, shakes, and several other dishes—were all outstanding and cooked to perfection. Usually, there’s something that doesn’t go quite right, but here, they ensured everything was done correctly. Our server showed great care, and the manager even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were seated in a unique car booth that resembled a vintage Chevy Malibu or Bel-Air, which made for a fun dining experience. The memorabilia adorning the walls really transports you back in time. I've been here twice now, and while I thought my first visit was a fluke, this time confirmed that their standards are consistently excellent. I highly recommend giving the Omelet House 50's Diner a try; the food alone makes it worth it!"

Not authentic 50s burgers. Just a regular burger that you can make at home. Not worth the $12.00. Boomer nostalgia all over the walls does not make a 50's diner. View menu

Great, old fashioned looking diner! Simply took some omelettes, which tasted very well had an iced coffee (which was much bigger than expected! . Overall, good place, with good service!

I would have given a better rating but I found a small piece of metal in the food. When visited on a Saturday and there service was slow but they were busy so that's understandable. The omelette I had was one of the best I have had. However my order came out wrong originally, I order and eggs Benedict Florentine but it came out as a regular eggs Benedict. They fixed the that issue which was nice but then while eating I found a small piece of metal in the spinach so I was put off. We will not be back after so many mistakes in one order.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
