"I called a few days before to confirm that they have franchicina on the lunch and dinner menu. I also mentioned a reservation on open table and in comments franchisina and pastal de nata would be ordered as it was my nabenbrust bday. we came and were the only customers. but we only tormented it until early. when we ordered franchise and octopus, we were informed that the sirloin was still frozen, as well as the otopus. the dame went 2x to the boil to ask if they could do something if I had and called it in my reservation. the lady who served (virginia) was a shady and apologise. we decided to get only the bacalao appy and wein, as we were very hungry. we also have the pastal de nata and a glass harbour everyone. the food was in order and the server was very nice. However, it was the fact that they could not both take the dishes we wanted, as well as know that the items are not fresh but frozen, also a grief. I may try again, but only if I spoke with virginia before the time to have a confirmation of the ingredients available."

There were several menu items missing and the bacalau natas didn't taste as good as it used to.

Was out of some items that we wanted to order. Ambient could have been better looking out on street were others are walking by looking in on the guests. Really good desert.

excellent portuguesse food. bacalhao ao nata was fabulous. both the white porto and the regular portowein 30 years old were excellent. will go back and hopefully the same waiter will be a nice dame from venezuela.

oporto is not the same restaurant as before. for the appetizers was the broth old and dry, the wine collections were limited, and on Friday they had no bark meat. bad administration, nothing to give the waitress the debt, she was nice and tender pity on the local. not soon back. View menu

The food is decent but nothing special. We ordered cod fish (bacalao) in 3 different cooking styles and none was delicious . Wines from Portugal are usually very good especially the Vinho Verde and the Alvarinho varieties, but the ones we had at the restaurant were ordinary. The ambience is pleasant (former Romeu restaurant) and service was courteous.

Unfortunately, our experience was not nearly as positive as in the past. While the portions were generous, the entrees took a very long time to come out, and the quality of the food was not up to par. I also presented a certificate for tax exemption since this was a work dinner associated with a non-profit institution. The certificate was not honored and there was no communication from the server to indicate that the bill would not be adjusted. We also ended up paying a very high fee for water that was too frozen to use until the end of the meal. This could have been an “off” night. If not, I’m very sad to see this decline. Unfortunately, I will have to recommend to my colleagues that take u...
