"Stopped in on a Monday evening and found the place full of happy people. It's a small dining area, but it feels nice. The food was really good. Probably the best burger I've had in a while. The house shrub was wonderfully tart. We will be trying to get a table every time we come through town. The only reason for the loss of a star in atmosphere is the small size of the dining room. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options with no noticable impact in quality."

I ordered a vegetarian burrito and a vegan burrito for takeout. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. While we waited, we took advantage of the bathroom, and... View menu

I dined here for two consecutive days and had an excellent experience. The food was outstanding, thanks to the skillful chef. I would give it an A+ and highly recommend it!

The service was lacking. We waited for 15 minutes before a waiter approached us, and even then, he was completely devoid of personality and showed no signs of good customer service. Furthermore...

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is outstanding. This is undoubtedly the best place we've dined in the area. I really appreciate that they provide gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. View menu

I had the lamb bowl twice because we returned the very next day. The sweet potato fries were a perfect 10/10. The house shrub was also delightful. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth it for a unique dining experience compared to the usual options in town.

I can only give Owl Spirit Cafe 2 stars, and it has nothing to do with the atmosphere or the quality of the food; my issue lies with the prices. We paid $72 for 2 vegetarian sandwiches and 2 kombuchas, including a standard tip! Coming from Switzerland, we're accustomed to high prices, but this was extreme! Even the locals we spoke to were incredulous. Let's be clear, this is a cafe, not a fine dining establishment.

"My wife and I stopped by this place after having it recommended to us by a friend. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. We arrived at the end of breakfast as they were transitioning into lunch, so we were understandably asked to wait 20-30 minutes and enjoy a beverage while we waited. We decided this was acceptable and we took a seat. It ended up taking at least 15 minutes to get waters delivered and then another 15 minutes to get menus. Once we ordered, it took another 15 minutes to receive our food. With other things like waiting to be seated and waiting to place our order, it took approximately an hour before we ate. We also noticed that other tables who had arrived far after us were served first. When the food arrived, my wife's fried chicken burger was somewhat small and the potato salad side was bland and had hard potatoes. My Manila clam lunch special was fine, but for a lunch meal, it felt like there were fewer clams than in an appetizer version of this dish that I've had at many other places. During our meal, we were never checked on by the waitress, nor offered refills (despite her walking by us with the water pitcher), and we generally felt dismissed despite several attempts at eye contact. We also overheard other customers commenting about the small portion sizes. Overall, the food was not bad, but the service could use improvement. Other patrons seemed to be more willingly catered to, so we are not sure if our disparate treatment was because we are not locals or for other reasons."
