"If your claim to fame is ?good food and friendly service? the staff should extend the friendly service part to their interactions on the phone. We called the morning of November 21 at 6:55. I understand they don?t open until 7 but we figured ifthey answered they could take our order. Instead, when we asked to place an order we were met with a woman who said ?we aren?topen yet, you are going to need to give us 10-15 minutes?. That is not friendly service. It?s bizarre they would answer thephone if they and then say they won?t take an order until 5-10 minutes after they open. When we did call at 7:10AM she took theorder, but she still had an annoyed tone. Overall, we felt like unvalued customers. Unfortunately the less than stellarexperience didn?t stop here. The Avocado Eggs Benedict was not good. The egg was way over done, not runny at all and for somereason whoever prepared this thought that brown avocados was a good touch. The corned beef hash and the French toast just plaintasted bad. The tacos and the hash browns were ok. This was a really poor experience and we won?t be back and I recommend youfind somewhere else for your breakfast needs. McDonald?s would?ve been a better bet than the Pelican Grill. Additionally, Ireached out to the business via email and never received a response back. Clearly this business does not care about theircustomers whatsoever."

Portions were large Immediate service with no wait We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others The only reason I?m not giving it 5 stars is because the bacon wasn?t crispy in my husbands omelet and the cheese wasn?tadded to my scrambled eggs. But please don?t let that deter you from eating here. In all honesty we will eat here again if weare in the area!

I had the chicken and waffles. From previous reviews and photos shared by previous customers , I assumed they were chicken wings , I should have asked. Anyways , it was chicken breast and it was tasty. The waffles were also fluffy. My husband had the eggsand sausage and he liked it. My hot chocolate seemed like it was just cocoa or cocoa mixed with hot water. Next time I?ll askif I can have it with milk. The yogurt/berries and granola was fine but they literally put a teaspoon of granola. Overall, itwas a good experience View menu

The Pelican Grill promotes itself as a place for "good food and friendly service," but our experience fell short in both areas. When we called at 6:55 AM on November 21, just before opening, we hoped to place our order in advance. Instead, the staff member informed us, "we aren’t open yet, you are going to need to give us 10-15 minutes." This was not the friendly service we expected. It was strange for them to answer the phone only to decline taking our order until after they opened.
