"Why didn't I try Jacobs before? I was chasing orders and I started eating. I saw the sign for Jacob's restaurant and impulsively pulled into the parking lot. It was almost noon and I seemed the only patron for a Wednesday lunch. I was greeted by a wonderful hostess with a fantastic smile that felt welcome. The restaurant is very casual (what I like because I usually dine alone); there are even outdoor restaurants available. I ordered the Pesto eggplant pizza and the crabcake appetizer. The crab cakes were delicious! Served with a nozzle of citrus mayo. They were probably one of the best crab cakes I've ever eaten because they are loaded with crab meat and less filler than others I've eaten. I would have had them a little crispy. The Pesto Eggplant Pizza was also delicious. It was beautifully loaded with vegetables and small pieces of eggplants. It was wonderfully spiced with pesto, spring onions and the perfect amount of cheese. I think I've discovered my new favorite pizza in Sonoma! Luckily I ordered a big size as I took 3/4 of the pizza home for a few other meals! I look forward to returning to Jacobs to explore other elements on their menu."

For the first time in this restaurant fought with some friends, eat outside. Everything is farm to fresh, wonderful homemade soup, great salads and wonderful Italian. Loved the Aubergine Parmesan! attentive service, very friendly owners and worth a visit!

We were there because the review was good. And yes, the food was good. Crab Cake is one of the best we've ever tried here in California. Pasta was good too. Only the staff has admitted that it does not know much about wine and therefore cannot make recommendations.

Some of the most intense taste I ever had on Italian food. Very citrusy and my spicy sausage tasted almost like tikka masala. It was so filled that we could barely finish half (shadow residues later, of course). The waiting staff was so friendly and welcoming, especially the lady with the Japanese inspired tattoo half sleeve. Totally incredible experience. I will definitely be back!!! View menu
