"I visited the drive-thru at the Batesville location a few minutes ago and ordered a two-piece dinner with white meat, which I paid for. I recently visited Batesville and stopped by Popeyes. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 wings for $6.92. When I sat down to eat my food, I was not only disappointed but also very angry to find that the wings were so small they were barely recognizable as wings.

"The staff were sweet, the music was good. The place was about 85 degrees and so loud. The food was a one and honestly, if it would let me rate less, I would. Neither one of us could eat our meals. The steak had no seasoning at all and was impossible to chew. The potatoes were dorty and dry. I did eat most of my potato but the brisket that was in it was just pieces if flavorless fat. So for $75 dollars we ate half a salad and part of a potato. That was it. Very, very, very disappointed. Would not recommend. I'm sure some of their bbq is fine but beyond upset that our date night dinner was so disappointing and not to mention, sweaty! At least turn the air down!"

"**2021** I really wanted to like this restaurant. A nice Italian spot in Batesville? Count me in! Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The bread was stale and chewy, clearly left under a warmer for too long. The salad was just a pile of lettuce with a single slice of olive, a cube of tomato, no visible cheese, and it was drenched in ranch dressing. My husband’s spicy fettuccine had jalapeño slices mixed in, which felt like an odd ingredient choice for an Italian dish. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce lacked flavor, making for a disappointing meal. My manicotti was mostly just mozzarella without the delicious ricotta I usually expect, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. On the positive side, the portions were generous for lunch, the olive oil for the bread was excellent, and my minestrone soup was great. My husband also noted that this was one of the few places in Batesville that actually doesn’t serve burnt tea. We plan to give it another shot since they're new and may still be working out some issues, although I’m not too impressed so far. I did overhear someone talking about how amazing his sandwich was, so I might try that next time. Also, I must mention that both the hostess and waitress were incredibly pleasant."
