The food was exceptional, and the staff were absolutely remarkable! I've visited a few times before and have always left satisfied. My favorites were the meat and cheese platter, the clams with chorizo, and the chorizo tapas!

We decided to give Port-o Lounge another try after our initial lackluster experience. The food is quite good and beautifully presented, however the service is indifferent at best. There are too many great restaurants in downtown Jersey City offering great food and greater service.

The restaurant has a bit of a rough atmosphere. The appetizers were excellent, which is to be expected since it's a tapas place. However, most of our main dishes were disappointing, with the surf and turf being particularly bad. The paella was the only standout dish at our table. The drinks were satisfactory.
