"I visited the restaurant today, and I was disappointed by the service. The manager was quite rude, barely acknowledging me or even making eye contact. I tried to be friendly, but she responded with a harsh attitude for no apparent reason. When she handed me my food, she tossed it across the counter instead of politely handing it to me. I wished her a great day, and she rolled her eyes in response. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, which is disheartening to see. It’s unfortunate to witness such a decline."

Management is horrible and that is why no one shops here anymore l. Business is never conducted properly. 45 min wait for anything at potbelly’s and this was for soup. The owners need to rethink

At this particular store the first thing I dealt with was the unpleasant attitude of the lady on the intercom. After pulling up to the drive thru window I noticed the lady using a cup to fix my bowl, no serving spoon, this is unsanitary. One more thing , a smile goes a long way. View menu

I just called about a job application because a male manager told me to follow up a few days ago after submitting it. The woman I spoke with was quite rude and shouted that they are not hiring, then hung up on me while I was still talking. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful.

The manager had a terrible attitude and couldn't even respond when I tried to ask her a question. I nearly had to yell for someone to acknowledge me. I would only come here for the food and nothing else. I really don't want to sit and eat here, especially after being ignored by that woman. I could have just gone to Jimmy John's instead.

So I made a mobile order just to get points. I pulled up moments later. Lady on takes orders in the drive-thru said I must wait until the time frame, which was 10 minutes. It makes no sense that people who make the order at the drive thru gets their sandwich before someone who pre-orders. 1st last time. I'm not shocked by all of the negative reviews??‍ View menu

I see so many negative reviews about this spot and the management. Not sure what its all about, I showed up and the dude at the cashier was cool af. He helped me with the food side it was our first time. Also helped us with getting free sandwiches. The food was also good. Not the best but really good. Maybe try going into places with better attitudes and you will get the same energy back.

My boyfriend and I went to this potbelly yesterday for takeout. This location always takes a long time to get your order! We were waiting for two sandwiches and a soup for about 15 minutes in the drive thru. To top it off, I got the Avo turkey sandwich and as I was finishing half of it I noticed I was chewing on something strange. When I looked, I was chewing on a big piece of plastic!! Employees there clearly do not care about their customers.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
