"We were traveling on I10, looking for some authentic cajun.The waitress answered our questions and helped us choose. We got a bowl of shrimp gumbo to share, and some fried catfish, shrimp, and tried boudin for the first time.The food came out quickly and we enjoyed it! The price was reasonable, and we are glad we took a quick detour off the highway!PS the bathrooms were clean."

If you're ever in Sulphur LA. you have to visit Richard's with a big appetite. The hushpuppies are amazing.

Our waitress was awesome Saturday Nov 4 about 2. The crawfish pistolettes were perfect crunch. My daughter loved the lug nuts. The grilled catfish and shrimp were great.

I would absolutely give this place zero stars if I could. The food was terrible. The gumbo was just a watery soup with small frozen shrimp at the bottom of a cup meant for fountain drinks. I will never return.

I ordered the oyster and shrimp fried combo, but both were significantly overcooked. The oysters were inedible. On a positive note, the service was very friendly, and the baked potato was good. However, the food arrived in about three minutes, which seems far too quick for freshly cooked items.
