"Today I decided, after years of having Rosy's delivered both food and their lovely mixers to eat there, live and in person. That was a mistake. I wanted to sit outside. I was told to see the hostess. They weren't busy at all. The hostess seated me, space cadet that she was. The outside tables were nothing but sticky. It was muggy, still no excuse, but not that kind of sticky. But that didn't deter me.10 minutes later, I was still sitting there with nothing no water, no nod from a waitress, no margarita not even a snide look or remark I was invisible. With so many food options in the city, I typically just walk away. Seriously. But today, I wanted someone to know they screwed up, and it wasn't because they were busy, they were just not good at what they do.I sat at the bar. There was now a guy at the hostess station, he looked at me like I had two heads, coming in the back door and heading to the bar. Wasn't listening to me. After a few minutes, he did come over to give me a menu. I told him I didn't need a menu, I had a chance to study it while I sat outside for 10 minutes. That's when it registered. They did try to make it up to me, my drink was free. Which I appreciate. But with so many great Mexican options in the city, won't be here again."

The carnitas burritos and tacos were fantastic! The guacamole was also excellent, and they serve a large portion—enough to feed a crowd!

I didn’t receive the drink I ordered, and the $3 side of pico de gallo was extremely small. Although the food was tasty, it arrived cold. Overall, I was quite dissatisfied with my experience.

Honestly, the food couldn't have been worse. I highly advise against ordering from here to avoid making the same mistake I did. This is the only review I've felt compelled to write without being overly dramatic.

Everything was SO good! The salsa verde had the perfect amount of spice and the bag of chips were not inky big but delicious! The chicken tacos and nachos were also great! There wont be anything bad in this menu.

This is my go-to place for tacos and margaritas in the area. The late-night kitchen hours are a huge plus. They have an excellent happy hour, and the staff is incredibly friendly, which makes for a great experience overall. My top picks so far are the chicken tinga tacos and the nachos. I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5 View menu

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Three out of five of us got sick from the food, and the margarita pitchers were mostly just sour mix and ice. This wasn’t my first negative encounter here, but I decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, the service was also subpar. I won’t be coming back. I hope they can improve in the future. Additionally, there were $20 in fees on top of the bill! I suggest looking for a better place for your money.

As for the food, the shrimp tacos were just okay. They had decent flavor, but the shrimp were average in size and slightly smaller than I expected. They were served in a single corn tortilla, but typically two tortillas are used to prevent them from falling apart. I also found the guacamole in the taco a bit surprising; I prefer the traditional style with onion, cilantro, and lime. I also tried the pork tacos, which were alright, and the wings were quite good—marinated instead of fried. The guacamole was solid as well. The highlight for me was the hot sauce bar! They have about 25 different sauces to choose from, and the Peach Habanero was particularly fantastic.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
