"Goyitas used to be fabulous prior to the pandemic. But recently it has changed in so many ways. Their prices have increased at a much higher rate than any other restaurant we have visited. The food quality always varies from okay to not good at all. Also, the food portions have decreased by at least 30%. Our takeout food is often too cold to eat. We are only 5 minutes away. They now charge a 3.5% surcharge to use your credit or debit card. Our orders are usually over $100. I don't care to carry that much cash. There are just too many other Mexican food restaurants in town that are more consistent in food quality at a better price. I'm sorry to say that my family is not planning on going to Goyitas anymore. That's too bad. They once were so good."

"I recently ate here while visiting from out of town. The service was good and the ambiance is nice, so that 's the only reason I gave them any stars, but the food was mostly disappointing. #1 Calamari- we ordered two servings of this. One came with larger pieces and the other plate looked like all the pieces came from the bottom of the popcorn bag and were overcooked. Appetizers #2 and #3 were the baked garlic shrimp and stuffed mushroom caps. Both of these were served in escargot dishes and were covered in layers of different cheeses. It was disappointing to remove the cheese only to find tiny shrimp and even smaller mushroom caps! I 'm talking itty bitty button-size mushrooms with a canned quality to them. There was supposed to be crab mixed in with the mushroom cap 's overly abundant cream cheese mixture, but I didn 't detect any. The only decent part of my meal was the lettuce wedge, which is hard to mess up anywhere."

"On the plus side, we tried the Eggplant Florentine sandwich, which was tasty, but I wished there had been more eggplant. Additionally, the eggplant that was there was not cooked well; I prefer it grilled, but this was undercooked and chewy. I hope they improve, as it's a lovely spot for post-movie dining. Update a week later: We may have discovered the key to getting a great pizza here! Our friends ordered extra sauce on their sausage pizza, and it turned out to be very flavorful and moist, with just the right amount of sauce complementing the delicious crust. I believe there was a small surcharge for the extra sauce, but it was only $1."

"First and last time trying this place. Not sure what all the hype is about. I give them credit for trying to make a good pizza with a high temperature, but the pizza just tastes like cardboard with minimal flavor. The crust is too thin that it dries out and gets too crisp/burnt and very stale. The whole family agreed. It reminded me of the totinos microwave pizzas that had an airy crust and holes in it. And most pizza places have a build your own option too. Plus the pizzas are tiny. Not worth the money in my opinion. Go find a great pizza place in the Tucson area. There are plenty of them. To each their own. Parking: Lots of spaces Kid-friendliness: Looks like lots of space inside to eat and also a lot of tables for outside eating.
