"I really enjoy this restaurant because their prices are lower than most Vietnamese places I’ve encountered in the city so far. Currently, they are only offering take-out. The owner is incredibly kind! My boyfriend mentioned that she made him feel welcomed and comfortable. There was a moment when his card accidentally declined, and she handled it with no judgment or negative reaction. I mention this because my boyfriend is Black, and he often feels unwelcome in various establishments. I’m so glad to have discovered this restaurant, and I’m proud to support it."

The banh mi here is absolutely amazing! If you’re not familiar, Vietnamese banh mi are the best sandwiches out there! My meatball banh mi was packed with flavor and incredibly tasty. I also tried a cold Vietnamese coffee, and it was an excellent iced coffee.

I live close by and was excited to see Saigon go in. The menu has been expanded since they opened. A great place to get pho and Bahn Mi sandwiches. Quick, the food is good and the service is friendly. I'll be back to try the Pad Thai they now list on their specials board.

The owner was extremely friendly, and the food was delightful. Everything is made fresh, so you might have to wait a bit, but it’s absolutely worth it. I had the sandwich combo, which was fantastic. The coffee was a wonderful bonus, and the bánh mì was excellent. I will definitely be returning! View menu

Very familial atmosphere. One of the best?and biggest?banh mi sandwiches I?ve had in a long time (sautéed chicken with lemongrass). Shrimp summer rolls were beautifully made, too. I had to wait a bit, but I also went off-hours (between lunch and dinner), and the food was cooked and assembled just for my order. Will definitely return and recommend.

This was my first time trying takeout from this restaurant, and while the flavors are quite refreshing, I found it to be overly sweet. I could taste the sugar in every spoonful, which is why I wouldn't go there regularly. However, I really liked the summer roll, which has made me upgrade my rating from 3 to 4 stars. It was actually quite good and better than other places nearby. I might return for that summer roll again!

My husband and I ordered takeout. We ordered a large chicken pho, egg rolls, beef pad tai, and pateso. The pho tasted like a can of chicken broth from the grocery and we ordered a large pho but it was more like a small one. It had very little meat. The pateso was greasy and the beef inside was under-seasoned. My husband ordered beef pad tai but received chicken pad tai. The pad tai was kind of tasteless. The egg rolls were very greasy. Outstanding experience went in for a Vietnamese Coffee and happened to grab some food out of curiosity...really glad we did! Honestly blown away, totally exceeded any expectations I had. Saigon coffee was phenomenal, super deep rich flavor and the perfect level of sweet from the condensed milk. Tried the meatball sandwich with a spring roll and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't one of the best sandwiches I've had, might be in my Top 10. We'll be back to try more, no doubt.

I like this place very much, because their prices are cheaper than most Vietnamese places I have seen around this city so far. From now on, she only accepts take-out. The lady/owner here is so friendly! My friend said she made him feel welcome. His card accidentally went back and he said she didn't look at him funny or has negative reactions to the situation. I say that because my friend is black and is rarely welcome in most places. I'm glad to have found this restaurant and I? m proud to support it.

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
