We are Sunday regulars and we leave huge tips so the waitresses love us. But we were just turned away at the door at the time we always come. The host said they close at 8:25… we won’t be back because clearly they don’t want our business.

customer service overall was good. but we waited for over 10 minutes after we gave up our drinks orders to receive them. the chef who served us made up with his humor. we had more than enough food for the price and had full pull-out clothes when we were gone.

I've always liked Sapporo. This time the food just wasn't the same. The chicken gave rubbery vibes. The soup was great as always tho! I'll go back for that. If I desire chicken and rice in the future it will be a no for me from here. My friend thought the same about her food as well afterwards. Something went wrong somewhere! View menu

Food is always good have been coming here since it opened many many years ago. I just don't feel like the staff sales the experience like they use to. It obvious the owners don't really put much into updating the look of the restaurant and it's atmosphere. Some of the chefs put on a good show but the food is always good as I saidFood: 4/5

When my 3 person party arrived we were told it was a 45 minute wait. No problem. After an hour we checked with them and they said the took another group ahead of us who came in after we did. Finally we were seated. After and hour we were told they were having an issue with another table and we would have to wait a little longer. Then we were finally served. The food was good. But they added a 25% tip on my bill after it took 2 hours to get my food. We arrived at 6 pm and didn't finish until after 9 pm. I will not go back.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They add gratuity to parties of 4 or more portions are small and the prices are equivalent to the better restaurants (Arigatos and Kabutos) no plastic silverware was available- they crowd the tables- they had 12 people at one table (8 person table). Drink watered down- waste of . Chef had a good personality- waitress was cool- we were not informed about the gratuity and it is not written anywhere in the restaurant. Let me tell ya’ll…Sapporos is the best!! Not only is the food great but their hospitality is amazing! My son and I arrived last night before closing. We were the only 2 customers left in the restaurant. These people still sat us down at a table and served us just as good as if the restaurant was packed at lunchtime. Our cook Tryon was wonderful. He wasn’t upset that he had to come out last minute and cook our meal instead he came out and did his “onion train” trick and laughed and joked with us. Most restaurants would’ve turned us away and Sapporos didn’t. Sapporos gets the utmost respect from me for this.

We took our grandkids for their first Teppanyaki experience. We went on Sunday evening without a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. The service was decent, although it took several minutes to get drink ordered and they were in the process of re-licensing so no adult beverages, which given the group was not really an issue. The overall ambiance is average, but the attention to detail at the table specifically by the chef more than made up for it. The experience at the table was very good, the chef did a nice job and portions were large and proteins were cooked to temp requested. The kids loved the show and the food. This was a total success. Starting by saying I love the food at this restaurant and have been many times. But, Roaches!!!!!! On my last visit, June 25th it was not a very busy day we were seated almost immediately. I was helping our two year old with shoe issues and was the last one to the table. As, I began to sit down, I looked at my plate and saw roaches scatter from underneath and run off the table. Utterly nasty!! At that moment, I told my wife and kids we had to go and we were not going to eat here. I informed the management of the situation.
