An on the whim stop turned into one of the best meals we had while down in West Palm. Food was delicious, the outdoor dining was great, and our waitress Jessica was awesome!

Must try! A unique place with fresh and delicious food (had local red snapper and wedge salad yum! , very good drinks (had flightless bird, a non sweet vodka based drink . Highly recommend.

The food was truly exquisite, and the ambiance was pleasant. We visited for the first time for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, flavors, and overall experience. It was a true delight. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return! View menu

Small, quaint space with a really creative menu that changes daily and the kitchen team really executes making perfect dishes. The bar is not outmatched whatsoever and fire out some outstanding cocktails too.Smash burger Wednesday is a must.Parking: Typical woes of a downtown location.

EXCEPTIONAL MICHELIN STAR ? WORTHY! Sassafras does not disappoint. Everything is delicious. My wife and I visit every chance we get. The Chefs and Cooks kill it in the Kitchen. The Golden Beet Salad Cheddar Biscuits...HOLY SH*T! A must visit Restaurant if you're in the West Palm Beach area. If you're a Foodie, don't miss out. Shoutout to Chef Nick and the Staff.

This restaurant is ranked among the top 100 in the USA according to Yelp, and I have been here multiple times and absolutely love it! The food that comes out of the tiny kitchen is incredible! While the wine list is somewhat limited, the selection they do have is solid and reasonably priced. Their happy hour is fantastic, offering 50% off drinks and a variety of well-priced appetizers and main courses. I also want to give a shoutout to Sharon, the new general manager; she seems to be effectively addressing previous service issues. Sassafras is consistently above average! The food is flavorful and better than nearby restaurants with similar prices. The menu is interesting with variations to familiar dishes that will leave you with a smile on your face. The roasted beet salad, the fried chicken and waffle made of corn bread), the biscuits with onion relish, the pickled vegetables, the cocktails….. everything I have tasted there is delicious and artfully presented. I highly recommend Sassafras. I brought my family when we couldn’t get reservations for a nearby restaurant. The meal we had at Sassafras did not disappoint! Looking forward to my next visit.

We sat outdoors as the evening temp was perfect with a little breeze. Our table had the cutest bespoke blue china which reminded me of eating at Grandma's house on Sunday. The table had fresh flowers on it which complemented the blue plates and made for a special experience. Our server was very attentive and helped pick out just the right items to order. We had oysters, cheddar biscuits, shrimp and grits, a side of mac and cheese, side of collard greens and gumbo. We are from New Orleans originally and the Gumbo was terrific. Happy hour on a Sunday evening is a fantastic opportunity to sample various menu items at about 40% off the regular dinner prices. We tried the smash burger (I opted for the single patty instead of the double, and it was just right), the classic fried chicken sandwich accompanied by their housemade hot sauce, as well as the hand-cut fries and crab hushpuppies, all from the happy hour menu (which are also available on the regular menu).
