"Im not one to leave bad reviews, but not sure all the rave reviews warrant this place. Overpriced IMO for service and quality of the food. My mom and I ate here on our trip to Santa Fe. I made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday, but noticed a lot of availability when we arrived. Service was attentive when we first sat down, but slowly faded and ended up being not great. The food was ok, definitely have had better at less expensive places We had the Lamb “Special” and the Lobster Rissotto. Both plates were half covered in shredded parmesan which was odd. We did not receive the dessert we ordered, they brought something entirely different out, but to be fair it was good. Couple next to us never received their espresso. Waters went empty for 1/2 the meal, double charged for 2 bottles of Pellegrino, when only 1 small glass was poured (bottle not left at table). Just a poor experience overall, not sure if we went on an off night or what given all the rave reviews of this place. It was nice and comfortable inside and the had a large outdoor patio, but with the service, I would not recommend unfortunately."

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to!!! It was pricey but whatever the cost it was WELL worth it! Perfect place to spend our anniversary!

We dined outside at a table for two. The menu had a number good choices, and we were pleased by our selections. The service was attentive but not overbearing. We will return on another visit to Santa Fe.

What a great experience! The food and service were exquisite. The Lobster Risotto is a delicacy and the chef even made a GF version for one of the party. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They even brought a special birthday dessert for one of our party. The Ambience outside is great. So glad we decided to go to Sassella.

Great place to treat our friends with a fantastic meal. We had the special portobello salad and the pear salads. Wonderful. I'm in a rut, in a good way, with the lobster risotto. My husband loves the pasta bolognese. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass special presentation. Topped it off with the amaretto cake and espresso. Then we had to go for a stroll. View menu

Our server was very friendly and aimable, but he was totally disorganized scattered. Throughout the evening, we had to wait too long to place orders beverage refills. We had to refill our own wine glasses, wait for water, etc. Despite it being clear we were going to shar appetizers, we waited for some small plates that never came. We eventually had to pass plates around the table.

Amazing experience. Staff was great, very attentive and accommodating. The food was beyond amazing, every course was perfectly executed. Chef Christian and Tony are definitely culinary genius and piece together so many perfect dish. Would definitely recommend. The mushroom carbonara was so flavorful and experience putting together yourself from a deconstructed form was amazing. Hands down best Italian in Santa Fe, definitely look forward to the future of both chef’s creations.

Some of the dishes were superlative (e.g., the tonno crude; the quail) ; others perhaps less so. (The Caesar salad and the sorbet looked very pretty but were a bit of a hassle to eat and wildly overpriced). The wine list is impressive, but VERY expensive our server recommended a Barolo that she said they had just received $130 for a thin, mediocre wine; when I think of all the lovely Primitivos I've had here and there for $20 a bottle and less, I have to wonder. The restaurant is very, very pricey, even for Santa Fe, but if money is no object, you'll get very good food and attentive service in a lovely setting. View menu

After many visits since opening, I felt that Sassella lost its way for a while. It made it hard to go to. Too much focus on creating for social media and not appetites. Every dish was trying to be too unique, too fancy or attention getting (weird . And had way too much seafood for the high desert. Just not very appealing. For a while there wasn’t even anything on the menu with chicken or steak and not much very family friendly or slightly younger guests or those from other smaller cities in USA. (Lunch menu had some better options though but that’s gone. Now, they seem to have a better variety again that can appeal to many. At least wild boar or meatballs are better than squid, liver or what...

I guess this passes for high end Italian in the southwest. TL:DR- the food is as good as you would get at a midwestern or east coast Italian chain. I was in town for a weekend and ate alone. For three courses and a drink I paid $130. I was aware of the cost and was excited to have my mind blown! I had the burrata salad, an arancini special and a chicken piccata special. The drink was all filler and presentation $20). The burrata salad was the high point; but it’s nothing a home chef couldn’t execute besides the burrata). The arancini special appetizer was 20 something dollars for three small mediocre arancini served on bolognese sauce so they lost their crisp as they sat. The chicken piccata...

"We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since I have never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and sour soup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was not over breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I have ever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right portion. The rangoons were basic with fake crab, but a good portion at a great price. For entrees, we ordered Beef Rendang and the seafood clay pot curry with coconut rice chiken rice. You can choose normal steam rice, brown rice, coconut rice and chicken rice. OMG, the coconut rice is like a dessert, smell delicious and it is such a great taste. Seafood clay pot is sooooooo good with fish, scallop, tofu, bunch of veggies and eggplant all in a spicy and savory broth. The beef rendang is soft, flavorful, and great quality. The curry spices used perfectly complimented the meat without overpowering it. It you want to try extremely good Malaysia food!! Definitely give this place a try."
