"I really appreciate the layout and location! It’s a nice, somewhat secluded spot on U Street, tucked away behind the 9:30 Club. We went there specifically for the boozy milkshakes, which were delicious. However, the whiskey was a bit strong in my peanut butter shake, so I think rum might be a better option. We also tried the tater tot poutine, but it was quite greasy and the cheese curds resembled more like old chunks of mozzarella. Despite that, I had a great time overall at this place."

Great place! They have a fantastic selection of local beers and some excellent options on tap. The tater tots are absolutely amazing! Don’t miss out on the adult milkshakes. The atmosphere is really laid-back, and they offer great specials every night!

Edit: [WAS] A great bar attached to a great music venue! Friendly staff, good beer selection, and surprisingly good pizza. And they [had] a good happy hour and fun events like drag bingo. And don't forget the adult milkshakes! Those [were] good for sharing.

Went here last night with friends to pregame before a show at 9:30 club. The DJ was amazing! Wanted to stay there all night instead of the show. The bartenders were so friendly too. Cool atmosphere/decor. And their bar snacks looked good too. Definitely coming back!

The Satellite Room was included in a bar crawl, and I really wished I could have spent more time there. The staff was incredibly friendly, the menu looked delicious, and the hip hop DJ at the Sunday brunch created a great vibe. I can't wait to go back and try some of their signature drinks! View menu

Satellite room has great staff and awesome food! Their menu changed pretty recently but the pizza is fantastic and the tots are as they’ve always been reliably delicious. If you’re in the mood for dessert, boozy milkshakes are a real plus. They’re also available in non alcoholic if you’d prefer (but why? .

The boozy shakes are super tasty. The Cinnamon Toast Punch is a personal favorite of mine. Overall the food is OK. Never had a disappointing meal, but also haven't been blown away by anything I've tasted there. Location is great for those times you want food or drinks either before or after a show at the 9:30 club, though it can get busy and noisy.

French toast here is out of this world! They use thick bread so it tastes a lot better than the thin sliced bread. Came in on a Sunday and we were able to be seated right away. Service was super quick. I ordered two eggs, sausage and French toast. I can't remember the name of the meal itself but it was very good. I also tried some of the pancakes which were gigantic! Those were tasty as well. Prices are cheap and the food is great so all in all a nice breakfast spot in OC. View menu

"I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"For a special occasion, make a reservation at Michelin star Reverie, a small restaurant inside a Georgetown alley. If you 're lucky, you 'll meet Poppy the Alley Cat that is taken care of by the community, including by the staff at Reverie. My wife dined at Reverie on a Thursday evening. Here 's our experience. 1) Experience: It 's a Michelin star restaurant so expect superb service. It 's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft and his passion is contagious. Every staff member from our server to the chefs who brought out our food, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Throughout the stay, we were given wet towels to wash our hands in between snacks. Our water glasses were kept full. If we really loved a dish, our server would point out elements or teach us tips on how to use similar flavors at home. The journey begins with savory snacks and ends with sweet ones. Since the menu changes often, a copy of your dinner 's meu is given to you to take home at the end. It 's a perfect memento, especially if you 're celebrating something special. 2) Food: Reverie 's menu changes, but whatever you 're served will be innovative, fresh, and full of flavor. It 's also a tasting menu. When we went in May 2025, the menu included 17 different bites/dishes. The meal starts and ends with three small bites. The next nine dishes mainly included seafood and one was elk. Every dish is presented on a design-forward plate and came in full color and plated perfectly. A sign of a good restaurant is perfection in every dish and there wasn 't a bad one. We thoroughly enjoyed every single one, but our favorites were the Scallop, which comes in a fun sunchoke cracker sandwich, Hiramasa with juniper and caviar, and the Carolina Gold Rice. 3) Drink: Reverie 's drink menu comes with cocktails named after neighborhoods from around the world, wine, and other options. The Golden Gai is now my wife 's favorite Old Fashioned. She ordered two. For a sweeter refreshing cocktail, get the Old San Juan. For a refreshing, but sherry-forward cocktail, I recommend the Roma Notre. The dinner begins with chilled tea for all and it is very tasty. Savor it. At the end, you 'll have an opportunity to order more tea. Each blend is unique. I recommend any of it. 4) Price: It 's $245 a person for the tasting menu and additional prices for drinks, but for a quality dinner experience, it could be more expensive. We found it to be a fair price, especially for a special occasion. 5) Space: It 's beautiful! The design is not ornate, but rather simple, making it classy. There are two unisex restrooms in the back. When you sit down, you 're offered small stools to place your phones, belongings, etc. 6) Neighborhood: Inside an alley, there 's much to explore nearby from other top restaurants, cafes, and historic homes. We usually find street parking nearby by the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
