"My daughter had a friend come in from overseas who is gluten-free and we received a recommendation for this restaurant for them to have a birthday celebration. As soon as they set down, they were told that they will only be able to pay with American Express or cash something that was not conveyed when the table was booked nor is it mentioned on the website (I ended up having to pay over the phone with my card . For the rest of the meal the service was reasonable but not very friendly, and the food was average (or as my 19-year-old described it Mid! . It definitely wasn't worth the drive to Manhattan and the cost of the parking."

Everything is completely gluten free, which is a dream come true. I have celiacs and I was so happy to be able to eat whatever I wanted from this restaurant. It was phenomenal.

If you’re in NYC and need a gluten free friendly Italian restaurant I can’t recommend Senza enough. Great staff, great food and in a great location. Thanks for making our family feel right at home and we can’t wait for our next visit.

a pretty nice facility, but exceptionally busy. louder place, not especially environment, just loud. that was in order? Fresh/hot etc., however, the finished diner plates were cleaned while others still eat, perhaps a regional thing, but in Britain this is extremely rude.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is delightful, and the location couldn't be better. Most importantly, the food is incredible—our kids enjoyed it, even though it was gluten-free to accommodate our needs. The staff is outstanding, and we have to give special praise to our server, Buna, who is simply exceptional. She truly enhances the experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed! View menu

This was my second visit, and I'm still thrilled by their incredible menu, which is entirely gluten-free! We began with mules to drink and their bread basket served with olive oil. It’s such a delight to have a bread option that I can eat and that tastes great! For our appetizer, we ordered fried calamari, followed by risotto and a slice of lasagna for our main courses. Everything was absolutely delicious! We wrapped up the meal with a delightful tiramisu.

The lasagna boasted a rich, roasted flavor complemented by a mild tomato sauce. The pasta had a nice firmness, and the cheese featured that wonderful crusty, cheesy texture that I adore in lasagna. The herb sauce drizzled around the edge was enjoyable, though it could have been enhanced with garlic, which they avoid due to allergy concerns. Overall, for those with gluten allergies, you'll be delighted by the abundance of tasty options. The chicken parmesan, rigatoni with mushrooms, and clams over spaghetti were all equally delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're in NYC!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
