"We came for brunch first thing in the morning and the food was incredible, but the service was absolutely horrible. We were one of two tables in the whole restaurant and hardly ever saw our server and when we did she barely said more than two words the entire interaction. We were also told they couldn’t bring us a bowl of fruit for our toddler even though my meal came with strawberries and the French toast comes with berries as well. I would have been more than happy to pay whatever they asked for it. It really is unfortunate because the food was amazing and we would love to come back and try more of the brunch menu, but are hesitant to do so now."

We have dinner here weekly! The ambiance is great. Sometimes service can be a bit slow but we know they are busy and working hard. We recommend the Burro and the tacos!

Best Mexican food in Alaska easily. Not the Tudor location, cause you will get sick or food poisoning (I have twice there never again) but downtown one is the best in Alaska , you gonna be happy for sure.

The restaurant does not offer complimentary chips and salsa. The food is overpriced for what it is, which is just average. You could find a better deal and larger portions at Xalos or On The Border for the same meal.

My husband and I visited for the first time, and we were quite impressed with the interior decor, as well as the food and service. We ordered the shrimp burrito, margaritas, and asada fries, and everything was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return. View menu

I really enjoy the food and the service here, but the music is consistently too loud. It makes it difficult to have a conversation with others at your table. We've requested the owner to lower the volume, but instead, he turns it up. If you're after great food and service, it's definitely worth a visit; just don't count on having a chat with the person next to you.

Stopped here for an early lunch so it was virtually empty. Ordered the chips and salsa (Verde, mild, and raspberry habanero). I had the carne asada torta with fries and my wife ordered 3 street tacos (carne asada, carnitas, barbacoa), rice and beans. I also ordered the house margarita. We enjoyed all of the food so much we ordered dessert: flan and fried ice cream. Overall the food was very good, but the waitress did not ask any questions so be sure to state clearly what you want (e.g. no tomatoes, salsa preference, etc). Also, the men's restroom although small seemed clean and had a lemony scent which was a bonus.
