"I had gotten a Living Social deal for Simonz to use when we went to visit the brewery in Angier. I figured we would need some food while we were down that way and it would be nice to try something that wasn't interstate fast food. Given that the website for Simonz is a little, ummm, retro I wasn't sure what to expect. Since I missed the photos section on the website I had it in my mind it was more of a bar and grill place, but when we arrived it was more small town cafe. Our waitress was very nice, especially given that we came in about 30 mins. before they were closing. We started with the sampler appetizer. It's a choose your own adventure variety so we got the mozzarella sticks, chameleon chips, and fried ranch chips. For the entree I had the stuffed pork chop and Mrs. B had the Ole Time Favorite Panini. With a little left to meet the LS amount we did dessert and went for the peach crisp. Everything was very good although I wished my garlic spinach side would have had a bit more garlic flavor. All in all it was a good dining experience. We even got to test/expand our trivia knowledge with the Trivial Pursuit cards on the table. We both agreed a return visit would be in order the next time we visit Angier."

Great food. Terrific service. And the prices are very reasonable for large portions of food.

Incredible food (try the ranch chips, chili and poppy seed dressing), all made from scratch! Waitstaff is awesome as well.

A nice family owned restaurant with a decent menu selection. Come early though, they make small batches and sometimes run out of stuff. View menu

Amazing place to host an event or party. Staff are committed to quality customer service and the food is to die for. Would recommend this hidden gem to everyone.

Great food and friendly servers. Good home cooking. They have space available for events. They also have a kids night. Definitely a locals place. A gem in our community!

Food was just average and the waitress we had seemed irritated that we had kids...continued to sigh out loud at almost everything but treated another table much better even tho they had kids...believe it was just because mine are a little indecisive at times View menu

I love Simon'z. The chief calls his food the taste of fresh and it is. He buys much of his meats and vegetables locally and nothing is ever frozen. The dinning rooms are beautiful and the staff is always attentive. I love the shrimp with blackened rice and they have the best green beans around. It's a great place for a quick bite or a family get together. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out! Kimball S.

Simon's as a General rule is one of the best Restaurants in this Area..That being said , I treated a couple of my clients , who drive an hour to get their HAIR Service at my new Salon in Downtown Angier( MJ's Hair Station) inside BEST Hair Design at 120 Broad St ..Just moved my business here from Apex to be closer to home ..And Simonz has always been the BEST..not so much this time. Service was good, but dinner first all 3 of us , was a disappointment!..Ill be going back for sure, I just can't imagine this to be a general rule, as it's always been great. for many lunches, dinners , brunches and birthday and Christmas parties. My advice , try them if you haven't , I think this was just a fluke...
