"GREAT night! GREAT food, and EXCELLENT drinks. I am a bourbon snob, and I LOVE that they have Eagle Rare. For a brewery, I thought the draft craft selection was a little weak. And, they did not have any “cask conditioned” beers (even though they have a nice banner on the menu for them). The wings were recommended and did not disappoint. I will caution, however, that this is a “smokehouse” restaurant, so the wings were smokehouse wings. The meat fell off the bone as advertised, and the selection of sauces were delicious. We also had the smokehouse classic salad (DELISH), and their Chipotle dressing was FANtastic! One minor dig…. The BBQ mac and cheese could have been much better if they hadn’t drowned it in the super sweet BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is GOOD, but they overwhelmed the mac and cheese with it. Service was EXCELLENT. Very attentive to us, and we had a large party. Recommendations were on point, and the manager checked in on us regularly. Overall, GREAT new find for us. Not at all crowded, and they were able to take our large party of 10. They are listed on Open Table to make it easy to reserve a table and you get Points! Can’t give it a MUST DO but would certainly say WORTH A TRY!"

Our server was awesome but it took her a while to greet us. It was Mother's Day and our party understood it was busy. Food was pretty good.

Smokehouse Brewing (formerly Barleys Smokehouse) is best known for great craft beer and their signature wings.  What makes the wings so special? They are more work than any other wings in town they are brined, then smoked, then grilled to order before being served with what in my (trained BBQ judge and longtime food writer) are the best sauces in town.  The BBQ sampler is usually a good bet.

This place is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. It 's family-friendly, has a relaxing ambiance, the staff is super nice and the food is delicious. Our favorites are the BBQ Nachos with pulled chicken and the Boy Oh Boy Trio in either the silders or the mini taco salads. This place has amazing dill pickles too! I 'd give it a perfect score except the Mac 'n ' Cheese lacks in flavor. I 'd expect more pizzaz since everything else really excels in taste.

Waited 20+ minutes at hostess station, no one was there and no others waiting to be seated. Once seated we waited another 20 minutes but were not waited on, had no water or anything so we left! The restaurant appeared to be very short staffed. We did not want terrible service and a lousy experience for Father’s Day. We went to another restaurant where we had fantastic service and a really great experience. Too bad-I was really looking forward to trying a new BBQ restaurant. View menu

The food and beer was excellent. I had their scotch ale and it was one of the best I've had in years! Their buffalo chicken salad was also amazing and the sauce (second hottest one) was spicy enough to make me tear up but flavorful enough that I couldn't stop eating. Nice interior with lots of hard woods. Everything was very clean as well! Prices were fair and the wait staff was very nice, even if they were a bit shorthanded for Mother's Day. I will definitely be going back.

we went for the limited vaters tag menu and it was not disappointed. the three-fold sausage plate was delicious, the greens were perfectly boiled, and the gigantic potatoes had the perfect size of kick. the brisket melt was sweet and tangy and the flesh fell apart as it should be. the wings here are our favorite, smoked and saucated exactly right. the children were very happy with their burgers, and the zips were crispy and not fat. chris is such a jewel, she has dealt with our Hangry-Kiddos with ease and a smile and made sure that we often check out, although she was really busy.

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
