"I absolutely love this ramen! I consider it the best in all of Oakland. The broth is chicken-based, which is my preferred style, and while I particularly enjoy the miso-flavored broth, the shoyu is great as well. I would pass on the shio broth, but that's just my personal preference. The quality of the food is excellent, and the taste is always spot-on, no matter when you visit; it’s consistently enjoyable. This place is definitely a must-try! Just a quick note: they rarely have gluten-free ramen available, so don’t count on that, even if their menu suggests otherwise—it may not be up to date."

Unfortunately, this restaurant has seen a decline in quality over the last few months, while prices have increased. It used to be my favorite place for spicy miso ramen, but the recipe has changed. The broth is now too salty, the eggs are hard-boiled, and the noodles have become gummy.
