Soho Ramen - Menu

I'm not an expert, but this place isn’t much better than instant ramen, despite being more expensive. The half an egg on my dish looked like it had been made this morning (I visited around 10 a.m.). The noodles were really mushy. On the bright side, the fortune cookie was good.

They serve delicious vegan egg rolls, and I absolutely adore their spicy miso ramen. I initially expected only one vegan dish, but to my surprise, they have an entire menu dedicated to vegan options, including various types of ramen and appetizers. I still need to try the vegan Bao!

This is hands down the best andon noodle dish I’ve ever had! I’m surprised by the negative reviews. My experience was fantastic. The customer service was warm and courteous, making me feel welcomed. The broth tasted like saltwater with a hint of sesame oil. The noodles were overcooked and had a chalky texture. The vegetables were mushy. Overall, it was a terrible experience and we ended up throwing most of it away. The bao buns were passable but still not impressive, and the combination of flavors was quite unappealing. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here!

I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and honestly, it looked like something my two-year-old could have made. The tofu was cold, and the broth was really watery. When I compare it to places like Shizen in San Francisco, this just doesn’t measure up at all. You’d have a much better chance of getting good food at Monty’s or the pizza place at the Food Lab; both of those are excellent.

I ordered the Taro and the thai beef lettuce wraps. the tee had no taste and the salat covers are easy the worst I had in the food laboratory. for $10 the meat looked inconspicuous, it was hard, dry and had no taste. I waited for 40 minutes to eat this and I wish I canceled my order when I first thought about it. it's sad because I usually like this place, but I can't see that I can give them money for a long time. I just tried their ramen today. When you look at their menu you're unclear if they have vegan ramen or not but they do have a lot of dishes with vegetables. I asked and many of their dishes can be made vegan, so there are several vegan options here. I ended up with their Spicy Miso Ramen which was super delicious! It was made with spinach ramen noodles, vegetables, and spicy but not too spicy. Updated from previous review on 2018-09-09

The cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. I waited more than 25 minutes for my meal while sitting at dirty tables that clearly hadn't been cleaned; the sauce was drying up. It was apparent that my food had been sitting out for a while, waiting for me. When I finally approached the server, she placed my drink on the counter instead of handing it to me directly, which was quite frustrating. While my meal was decent, this was my first experience at this location, and I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews beforehand.

I got the creamy veggie ramen, and it was good! I have never had a potato cutlet it was a first and delicious. I appreciate that they clearly mark and have a lot of vegan options. But ramen is one also of my favorite foods and compared to other traditional ramen places, it doesn't have as many traditional toppings, the size is pretty small, and it was very oily. I have had better....but Riverside area doesn't have too many vegan ramen options so its worth giving a try. I would come back to eat some of the other ramens and see how they compare against each other View menu
