"We arrived for our reservation in heavy rain, so outdoor seating was not an option. The hostess quickly seated the four of us indoors. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Everything was going well until the appetizers arrived. After we flagged him down for one more, he got it for us. However, when dinner arrived, we realized we still hadn't received the final appetizer, so we decided to let it go. He eventually brought it out, but by then, it was a bit too late. The staff were pleasant, but I’m not sure if I would come back—perhaps takeout might be a better option next time."

Update: I appreciate the restaurant's response to my review, but you didn't address the issue of the mac and cheese being only half full, which I included in my original post.

We all enjoyed our dinners immensely. My crispy chicken was truly delightful—perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. It came with rice that resembled pad Thai, featuring egg, nuts, and a lovely curry flavor. I highly recommend it! View menu

The best lobster rolls we've had in a long time. The warm lobster was perfectly cooked, and the 4oz portion was generously packed with lobster, topped with a drizzle of warm seasoned butter. Absolutely delicious! They also serve fantastic Maine root beer!

This restaurant is my top choice whenever I'm in town. The white truffle is simply incredible, and the spicy honey is fantastic as well! We ordered the 6oz rolls, but you can also opt for 4oz ones. The clam chowder is delicious and generously packed with clams!

We had a wonderful dinner at Spice on Saturday night. The menu offered a great variety of Thai appetizers, salads, and main courses. The portions were generous, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The food quality was impressive, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back! The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. The waiter seemed completely disinterested. We chose two wines to sample and were only allowed to try one, which turned out to be incorrect. Thankfully, there were servers to bring our food. However, they never inquired if we wanted drinks with our meal or asked if everything was okay. I've been coming here since it opened, and this experience was disappointing.

I really enjoy this local restaurant and visit a few times each month. However, today while I was sitting at the bar for a quick meal, I was bothered by the presence of flies. I brought this to the attention of the server, the host, and the bartenders, but no one seemed to acknowledge it as an issue or offered to do anything about it, nor did they ask if I wanted to move to another spot. I was quite disappointed by this experience.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
