"Stark Brewing is a beautiful spot right in the heart of Manchester New hampshire, it has its own lot with paid parking and has a great atmosphere, however I did not find the food or the beer to be very good. I try to flight of six beers, two of them were pretty good but the other four all had a bitter tartness in the finish. They make sours here so I'm wondering if there's cross-contamination, perhaps it was just a tough time in the brewery but they all had that same similar tart aftertaste. I ordered a French dip, the meat was very tender and the sandwich prepared nicely, but the dip (some of which was poured over the meat) was incredibly salty (might have had msg it was waaay to salty tasting). My bartender was wonderful. As soon as the kitchen helper dropped my sandwich she saw it had no fries and went to fix that right away. So beer... not great, kitchen...not great, beertender... great, atmosphere...great. mixed bag but perhaps just an off night."

The food was excellent. I like the non fried option for the wings. The beer was just okay. Nothing outstanding. Took a while for the bartenders to get off their phone and realize that the glass was empty, and come for the refill.

The food is good, but recently the beer seems to be going downhill. I had a Pilsner back in December that really resembled a sour. It was tart. Today I had the blood orange IPA, which I’ve loved in the past, but it was weird… dark amber in color and tasted like soap. There’s something off in the beer. Is it the lines? I know you guys have been around a while. I hope it gets better!

"Another excellent meal at Cotton. We've been times now and they've all been noteworthy experiences. We were seated immediately, there was a bit of a delay before Summer, our server, arrived but not long. She was very attentive and knowledgeable, excellent service throughout. We started with drinks, a local beer from Abel Ebenezer and a peach and orange blossom Cosmo, which arrived in a timely manner. For an appetizer we had the Tuna Tataki which was superb. A perfect, light, blend of savory, sweet, and spicy with succulent tender seared tuna. For an entree I had the Delmonico steak, cooked medium rare at the chefs recommendation and my wife had the Atlantic Salmon. My steak was the first expensive steak I've had in years that measured up. The mushroom red wine sauce was a perfect pairing and only enhanced the flavor of the meat. It was cooked perfectly and the carrots and mashed potatoes were a tasty surprise of bright flavors. My wife's salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Flaky and moist. It's served with sweet corn and potato gnocchi and baby tomatoes. A delicious sweet compliment to the creamy herb butter on the fish. For dessert we enjoyed a rich dark chocolate torte (flour less but apparently not gluten free and the dolce freddo, a pistachio gelato with raspberry remoulade and pistachios on top. The torte was decadent and too rich to finish after such a great meal so we brought half home. I was staggered at the amount of gelato and didn't finish mine either, though it unfortunately wouldn't survive the ride home. Overall, the meal was fantastic and I would do it exactly the same all over again. It's worth noting that this was a very expensive meal. Including another beer we just barely missed by mere cents before tip. Worth every penny in my opinion"
