"The manager suggested I try the French toast, and I’m glad I did. She was right—it was delicious! I received three flavorful slices, though I do wish the syrup had been served warm instead of in little packets ($5.95). I also ordered some sausage ($2.00), which isn’t normally something I pair with French toast, but I wanted to try it. I also ordered home fries with onions ($2.00) since I was curious about them. The sausage came as two good-sized patties and tasted great. The home fries had a nice crunch without being too hard; however, I had asked for light onions, and it seems the cook was a bit heavy-handed with them. Luckily, I enjoy onions, but if you don’t, I recommend requesting them without. I also had a glass of orange juice for $2.00.
I would definitely like to return and recommend you give this place a try. If you enjoy watching TV while you eat, there are plenty of screens inside, and I’m sure someone will change the channel for you if it’s not too busy. My total came to $13.36 before tip. The only reasons I didn't give them a full five stars are the excess onions in the home fries, the cold syrup, and the wish for larger napkins. Just minor details really!"
