"I’m leaving this review because I’m not sure if it was an off day or if there was ill intent involved. This establishment closed at 2pm the day my mom I visited. Driving through Adel, we arrived a little before 12pm, my mother was craving ribs so she went in. Upon entering there was a weird atmosphere because she received stares from all the other customers but still proceeded to try to place an order with the hostess. After looking over the menu, finally she decided on just the ribs. They hostess took her order but came back out to say they were out of ribs. I’ve never heard of a barbecue place running out of ribs, especially not that early. I’m not saying it’s impossible but we couldn’t help but feel as if we just were being refused service due to her race. Meal type: Lunch"
