"What a disappointment. We brought friends to Tamo before a concert last night. It was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had since immediately after COVID when nobody was at full staff. The best experience all night was with the lovely gentleman who brought out our meals. The menu is not extensive, but does have a lobster roll which my husband ordered. It had so much lemon? And tarragon in it that you almost couldn’t recognize that it had lobster as well. Even the lettuce was hard. Just not.acceptable for a Boston Seaport restaurant! My bay scallops were equally bad. Overcooked, rubbery and devoid of flavor. I’ve never had worse scallops. Again, Seaport…. How can they not do seafood well? The server was not knowledgeable about the wine list at all and never came back to our table once our meal was served. Otherwise, we would have had the chance to change our food or get a second beverage. Major missed opportunity. Perhaps the most offputting thing was that you could actually smell fish as you walked from the garage elevator to Tamo. Probably should have known then that we had made a poor choice. We won’t be coming back, I’m afraid."

Excellent food and service. Great before a concert at the Leader Bank Pavilion.

Fabulous service but the food was barely warm and tasted like it came out of the freezer.

Just ok. Convenient if you’re staying at the seaport but several other (better) options in the area. View menu

Phenomal food, price point, and service. If you don’t get the espresso martini and salmon burger with truffle fries you’re missing out!

Food was just okay, nothing spectacular. Drinks were very pricey yet small. Service was slow even though it was not busy. The atmosphere and ambiance was nice.

Only place that took a last minute reservation on an Fri night in the summertime and I was 45 min late for it !! They were incredibly accommodating (thankfully) and the ambience , service , and food were all wonderful. Had a great time , highly recommend ! View menu

food was pretty disgusting. had the mushroom pizza, salmon burger, calamari, and chicken quesadillas. all were over priced and not very good either. the service was great. the automatic 18% service charge is fine, but it’s unclear if that even goes back to the servers. all and all not worth a visit.

I ordered Fish and Chips. There were two pieces of fish about the size of fingerling potatoes. The rest of the plate was piled with French Fries surrounding a basket of French Fries. There was easily ten times the amount of fries compared to the fish. The check included a mandatory 18%tip. Poor to mediocre experience. The wait staff was okay.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
