"I had a very disappointing experience at Spanky And Louches. I ordered a turkey salad for the first time and was surprised to find only two small slices of turkey, even though I asked for extra. A few weeks later, I gave them another shot, but it was the same—this time they added tomatoes even though I requested none, and the turkey portion was still minimal. I tried a third time reluctantly, and once again, my salad had no croutons and only three tiny slices of turkey. They charge nearly $15 for this! My mother ordered a shrimp salad and got just three small shrimp, which definitely wasn’t worth the price. I don’t usually complain, but this was really frustrating, and I won’t be ordering from here again. It’s disappointing since I live nearby and often get takeout because I don’t have time to cook. I strongly suggest trying Olympia across the street instead—they have much better portions and don’t skimp on the turkey!"

"Thank you for making fresh food. However the wings were really tough and dry, On the other hand the nuggets surprised me. I wasnt expecting much but they were really good. The sauce for the fried wontons is really what makes the dish. The sauce is amazing. Without the sauce the dish wouldve been lacking and I wouldve probably not bought it again. The filling is ok, the wontons are a bit more thick and doughy than what I am used to. Now the star of the dish at least for tonight was the beef with onions dish. To my surprise it came with green bell peppers and it was delicious! The shrimp roll was really good but the sauce (from the fried wonton) made it even better. Overall will order again and recommend. Ive had some hit or miss with other Chinese stores in Norristown. Id say this was a hit."

"The chicken tacos were good. I've def had better nachos we were shocked at what we were served. There was no music played and the place was completely empty and it was dinner time. It was weird. The server at the bar was nice. Made a good passion fruit mojito! Won't be back on purpose. Kid-friendliness: A family with a littler girl came in when we were leaving. They were the only other ppl there. Service: Dine in"

"we're here for the birthday dinner of my best friends. we often came here because the atmosphere is great and that was always good. unfortunately we will not be back again. everything is very expensive for the portion sizes they give them, and the service was extremely slow. we had the sunberry martini, which is in a small glass for $11. we ordered another and we waited almost 40 minutes when we decided to say our waitress to quit. our server did not stop at the hibatchi often so that we needed most of the time that needed to be able to get them. the last stray was when our food was cooked. we ordered the kabuto deluxe that comes with the three choices. we rarely ordered our steak medium and he literally put the food on our plate raw. I don't speak the pink color that gets medium rarely, literally raw. We asked him if we could have cooked our a little more and he tried to blame us that we had ordered medium. medium is a bright pink center, while medium rare is a deep pink, but still boiled. our steak had literally dark red meat, but only a little cooked pieces. when he put it on our teller, it was good. the lobster also tastes really fishy, so we didn't finish it. not to mention, the menu clearly states gratulation is added to parties of 6 or more. we had only 5 people, and the waitress accused a 15% tap on the bill without letting us know. I get it probably changed due to covid, but let her customers know! so unprofessional especially if the service was not good. I would have tipped right away, but I don't want the gratulation to be added without being informed or at least somewhere a sign? we loved this place, but we're going to go somewhere from now on."
