"This was my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant when I lived in Midtown. Their delivery was incredibly fast. Great portion sizes as well. I usually order the honey walnut shrimp and lunch combo. Prices are affordable, mostly in the $8-$12 range. There wasone incident where they gave me the wrong order and I called in to let them know. They fixed the order and delivered it to mewithin 15 minutes and the food was blazing? hot. And another time they threw in a free can of soda just because. And anotherseparate instance near New Years they gifted my order with a scroll calendar. Haha, I live far away now and I miss this place."

I like Tea Cup House because they are affordable and quick. I especially like that I can order sticky rice in lotus leaf all the time. Staff is always very nice.

The stir fried flounder is the show here. The meat is extracted out and stir fried with veggies and the rest of the fish is fried whole and servered intact to where most of the fish is edible...

I had a specific order and chef fulfilled it better than I knew it could taste. Waitress was very nice and patient with me. I can't express how good the chef's rendition on traditional items is. View menu

Just ordered for the first time from this place and I am in love. I got the mixed vegetable soup, fried rice, and egg rolls and everything is bomb. I will definitely be going to this place more often.

Delicious! I 've only gotten the 'american ' Chinese dishes (general tso, orange chicken, pork fried rice) but it 's good tasty comfort food, and a lot of it. Rice doesn 't come with but it 's a dollar or get the fried rice, totally worth

Tea Cup House has quickly become a favorite. The food never disappoints, and it's always hot and fresh! The green beans are always good. House special fried rice is my boyfriend's favorite. But I've never gotten anything from here that I didn't like.If you're looking for Chinese food in Sacramento, this is the place to go!! View menu

Kills it in terms of a jonesing for Chinese food in Midtown that's a nice walk to do after a hard day of biking or driving or anything else and you don't want to deal with nothing in your cabinet or fridge or deal with Grocery Outlet or Safeway. Afteryou place your order Choice Market on P Street is walking distance away and us good for getting something to drink to go with it

The staff at Tea Cup Cafe is consistently friendly, and the food is served promptly. They have a diverse menu, including options for dim sum. My personal favorites are the moo shu pork and the eggplant from the dim sum selection—I truly enjoy both. This review reflects several takeaway orders I've personally picked up, as well as deliveries made during the pandemic via the EatStreet app, although I haven't dined in yet. The restaurant always looks clean when I enter, and there's ample space for social distancing between tables.
