"Dinner was simply amazing…And while the food was great, the service is what made the experience for us.We are in town eloping this week with our 1.5 year old. Being that we aren’t from here we had no one to watch our toddler so I called to ask if it was okay if we brought him.They had no problem with him coming and said I could even bring him in something to eat. Every single member of the staff was amazing with him. They brought him toys out that their kids play with when they are there. They kept bringing different ones out for him throughout dinner, so much so that we joked about he gets “his own 6 courses but with toys”.I’ve been to higher end restaurants and I usually feel a little bit judge when we have to bring our toddler. But this was not the case here. They all acted like he was their own, which won my mom heart over. I would recommend this place 10x over."

The food was quite good, earning a solid four out of five for its quality and flavor. The service, however, was exceptional, deserving a perfect five; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made our evening delightful. The atmosphere was pleasing as well, with a cozy and welcoming vibe that contributed to a great dining experience, so I rated it a four. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out!"

"An impressive meal with a moderate price point. The staff here was very friendly, casual, and helpful. There is a vegetarian section of the menu and a few vegetarian sides and salads. We got lots: a veggie reuben, grilled eggplant sandwich, sesame-encrusted goat cheese salad, pear pistou salad, fries, and onion straws. There was nothing special about the reuben (although it is notable that it was lightly oiled and not dripping with grease, as many reubens are) or fries, but I enjoyed everything I ate, especially the salad. The arugula and lettuce were fresh and crisp, the balsamic and olive oil were subtle and well balanced, and the sesame-encrusted goat cheese was a beautiful, rich, yet still light way to round out the dish. The onion straws had a surprisingly light batter, in which celery salt added a unique and enjoyable taste. The sweet onions were finely sliced. The whole dish was very nice. They made it easy for us to leave an unwanted ingredient out of a dish, and they delivered a flawless meal in about 10 minutes. They were polite, amiable, and welcoming, and their COVID protocols made us feel safe and comfortable waiting inside instead of outside in the rain. Their to-go packaging was tin trays with plastic lids, and they gave us an incredible amount of ketchup, a perfect number of napkins, and they asked how many sets of utensils we wanted. I’ll look forward to visiting Eureka Springs—and Local Flavor Café—again after the pandemic is over!"

"We've eaten at Grotto Wood Fired Grill several times and always receive great service and the food and drinks are excellent. Atmosphere is romantic and comfortable. We were celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary, so they sat us at a table that was more private and had a nice card at our table when we arrived. We didn't check our ticket before paying, and noticed after we had left, we got charged for 1 too many cocktails. We will definitely pay more attention next time, but I'm sure it was an honest mistake. We highly recommend Grotto!"

"I first ate here in 1994 and have returned dozens of times over the decades. Is there usually a long wait? Yes. Why? Seating is limited and IT’S THAT GOOD. Go upstairs, order a few drinks, play a game if you can find a bar table or go outside on the balcony to stargaze or watch the sunset. When you do get seated at your table, as soon as they bring you delicious hot bread and roasted garlic in olive oil and you spread that nutty goodness on a slice, you’ll forget about the wait. Order anything on the menu — it’s all ridiculously good. I ordered the ravioli Alfredo sauce with chicken added. It arrived without chicken and my husband said I didn’t ask for chicken so I didn’t mention it to our server. After we got home I looked at the receipt and we were charged for the added chicken I didn’t receive. ‍ That’s never happened here before, so oh well. Still not disappointed. The fresh pasta was delicious and I will continue to return as long as their doors are open."
