"They have both sweet and savory crêpes. Stick with the sweet! I absolutely LOVED the ‘sweet’ banana and Nutella crêpe! I’d give it 5 stars, but the ‘savory’ crepe that I ate first was not good. It was supposed to have caramelized onions, spinach, mushrooms and Swiss cheese, but all I could taste and feel as I bit down was a lot of spinach. I told the cashier (when I went back in to get a sweet crêpe) that it was like biting into turf. It really was. She said to ask for less spinach next time. How was I to know it would have a dense stack of spinach? I couldn’t even finish it. She listened to my feedback and was friendly, but she didn’t offer to do anything to make it right. I still ordered a sweet crêpe because I heard how good those were and I still wanted to try one. It would’ve been good Customer Service to do something to make it right, (I.e. apologize and refund the money for the savory crêpe or comp the sweet one) but she didn’t. EDIT: I appreciate the owner’s comment and offer to make it right. If I can get back there before I leave the area I will. 2ND EDIT: I went back in and the owner was totally different than his response on here. He said I shouldn’t “expect a refund just because I ordered something I didn’t like” and chastised me for posting my review. (I did try to address it with the cashier when I went back in, and I still ordered a sweet crêpe even though she did nothing to address it). My review was very positive about the sweet crêpe and honest about the savory one so others may want to stick to the sweet (or ask for less spinach, like the cashier suggested for next time). Maybe I just got a bad one with tough spinach. I don’t know, but it was hard to bite into and I couldn’t finish eating it. I normally love spinach things, which is why I ordered it. He had a totally different tone in person than his response on here. He said he’d refund my money. I told him not to bother after how he was speaking to me in front of other customers and I just wanted to leave. I thought he was going to be as nice as his response on here and then I’d update my review my ratings. Quite the opposite happened when I went in there. I won’t be back after how he treated me. Too bad, I really liked the sweet crêpe."

Amazing to say the least! We had coffee and crepes. I’m not a sweet breakfast fan but I loved the Nutella and bananas. Don’t miss this!

That French Place is a gem! I have severe celiac and can’t eat out often. That French Place goes out of their way to make sure that they are safe for people like me. It’s so nice to go out and eat and know you have nothing to worry about! Thanks Brian and Emily for caring about your customers with special needs! View menu

Emily and Brian are some of the nicest business owners I’ve met. They have wonderful coffees and baked goods. They are continually learning their craft by traveling and taking classes in France. They have helped other summer businesses in their town seeing that staying open all year serves their community better. Hats off to That French Place!

My quiche was outstanding (the crust was delightfully thin my husband's spinach crepe was also deish. We drink our coffee black theirs was so tasty. We also shared a banana crepe. We brought our goodies to the nearby park (maybe East Park? ate at a table overlooking the harbour. Awesome way to spend lunch! NOTE: super small place, no tables inside. They make the crepes to order give you a pager. We loved checking out the nearby shops while we waited. There are 3-4 tables right outside the shop if you don’t want to walk around.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience before. The crepes and pastries are amazing! I ordered a chai latte recently and was given a regular latte instead. I wasn’t too fussed about it and as someone who doesn’t drink coffee I went back to explain the problem. The women taking orders wasn’t the most understanding of the situation and instead blamed the issue on me and unfortunately I had to pay for a completely new drink. I love this place and will continue to come I was just disappointed by this interaction. View menu

I recently had the pleasure of dining at That French Place and I cannot recommend it highly enough. As someone with allergies to eggs, gluten, and nuts, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, guiding me through the menu with patience and ensuring that my meal was safe and delicious. I opted for their gluten-free crepes, which were both beautifully presented and incredibly tasty, crafted with a filling that perfectly balanced flavor and allergen safety. The cozy ambiance and attentive service further enhanced the dining experience, making it clear why That French Place deserves its five-star rati...

Food allergy customers be aware that the crepes are all served on top of each other in one box. I have been to this place many times each summer and may have been too comfortable with it as I didn't mention that I had a nut allergy on this last visit. I didn't remember from the last summer that they were served on top of each other and when I received the order I couldn't eat the lemon sugar crepe because it was on top of the Nutella crepe. I asked to have it remade because I didn't know they would all be in 1 box my mistake) and Emily, the owner scolded me like a child and proceeded to tell me I was in charge of my own health and it was my responsibility to let them know when I ordered.
