"We did have the option to move to the bar and order items a la carte, but unfortunately, it was still from that pre-selected menu. This was a challenge for us due to our allergies and dietary restrictions. I ordered the halibut ($40), but when it arrived, it was disappointingly small, about the size of a tiny chicken nugget. By this point, I was starving, and I knew it wouldn't be enough to satisfy me, so I politely sent it back. The manager was kind enough to apologize and offered a larger portion as compensation, which I appreciated. While it wasn't the best experience overall, I was grateful for the manager's attentiveness to our concerns. I believe it would be helpful for the restaurant to clearly advertise if they have a pre-selected menu and fixed price. Nevertheless, I might be open to trying this place again on a regular night."

We had a lovely dinner on Christmas Eve. The waitress was delightful, the food was delicious, and the tables weren’t packed in. What a pleasure to be able to hear each and talk at a normal level.

Picked this place based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious food definitely will return. Best chicken sandwich ever. Family loved the Eggs Benedict and the biscuits and gravy. Our server Aaron was terrific. Kept water refilled, and refilled my Arnold Palmer before I could even ask. Lovely setting.

i ate here and remembered why i love real food. the 7th street standard displayed an earnest effort towards truly great dining, and hit the mark! nourishing for the the body as well as the eyes- what a simply beautiful and fundamentally charming young restaurant. the decor was tangible and conducive to conversation. the food brought out the best in me. incredible performance on christmas morning to all of the restaurant staff, and don't forget the chefs in the back!!
