"I absolutely adore Django for its fantastic atmosphere and great jazz music. However, there are definitely some areas where the management could use improvement. I made a reservation in advance and even left a note specifying that I was coming to celebrate my partner's birthday and requested a nice table closer to the jazz band or in full view. I also asked for the dessert I ordered to come out with a birthday candle. Unfortunately, none of these requests were fulfilled without me having to personally request and almost demand them. Upon arrival, we were initially seated at a table in the back room with limited visibility of the jazz band, even though there were still better tables available. It seemed that they preferred to reserve the best seats with full views for larger groups, rather than accommodating couples like us. After some persistence and speaking with the waitress and manager, we were eventually moved to a better table. However, I still had to ask for the birthday candle for the dessert, which ended up spoiling the surprise. This should not have been necessary. The management really needs to improve communication and train their staff better in handling special requests like these. Most patrons who spend over $200 in two hours are there to celebrate a special occasion, so it would be beneficial for them to pay more attention to reservation notes. Despite these issues, the ambiance and music at Django were still enjoyable in the end. However, I would think twice before returning to celebrate a special occasion unless I was with a larger group."

Arguably the best jazz club in NYC. Terrific cocktails. Great music. Highly recommended. View menu

The service was absolutely horrible. Took over 45 minutes to get a check. The hostess was extremely rude and hostile. Great music, but would not bring guests back due to the attitudes of the staff.

This restaurant is incredible! The waitress from Morocco, Varesca (I think that was her name), is truly amazing. She provides sweet and exceptional service. The music and ambiance of the place are top-notch.

a so classic new york city experience. great show, good cocktails, funny crowd. we have booked in a reservation and requested a table in front and had what I would say is the best place in the house. two different shows (the bands in advance on their website). I loved it! View menu

the place itself looks cool, the music was great and eating was okay. the problem is that they charge them a 25 dollar cover fee, they have two drinks minimum per head and then kick after 90 minutes (30 of which was the break between the bands) because they have a deadline for tables. I will not go back there until they get rid of the deadline

Django offers a great jazz experience, taking advantage of its historical building and upscale hotel setting. However, the food and service left much to be desired. Despite my reservation for 7:15pm, the jazz show didn't begin until 7:40pm. Additionally, there was a cover charge of $25 per person, which was included in the final bill without any prior notice, leading patrons to unintentionally tip on the full amount. The cocktails were enjoyable, but we were abruptly asked to leave after 2 hours, even though the show had yet to begin.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
