"Our attempt to contact the restaurant Kohinoor was unsuccessful and there was no answer to my message of 2 days. So we contacted Himalayan Chimney, and we got an immediate answer, and we went to dinner. There are street parking places right in front of the restaurant and was a weekday, it was to pay by 9:00 at 0.75 per hour. In the Himalayan Chimney restaurant we were immediately visited and sitting by an elevated pavilion. The waiter was calm, attentive and good. He took our orders and came back with the starters soon. The chicken 65 was delicious and delicious. Soon it was over and then the sizzling tandoori quadruple was plated, and the rest of the order was brought out, and we caught up. The goat briyani was a tad goatless, and the few pieces of mutton were not boneless, but for the price of $16.99, it was reasonable. The 4 different articles on the Tandoori quadruple were all very well made, tasty and tasty. Dal Himalayan was just as good, and G Jams were hot and soft, beautiful as the Kheer. Overall it was a great meal for the family, and everyone enjoyed it. I want to go back any time."

Beautifully tasteful. The Pistachio Chicken is lousy. The goat full of taste and perfectly cooked. We tried the Gulab Jamuns and it's such a fabulous dessert. Be careful, it is very hot, but worth waiting.

Food was great, service was a bit disappointing. Our server asked us if we were ready to order, took our order and that was the extent of our experience with our server. The atmosphere was great and we had a good time though, will definitely eat here again but order to go.

Wonderful food with nice atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and helped us a lot. I am not familiar with Indian food but she made us feel welcome. Liked the choice of rice or naan with curry dishes, get the garlic naan for sure. Goat curry had lots of meat, overall very filling and decently spicy. View menu

Loved the selection of food, the butter chicken was delightful! I unfortunately received a broken glass, I didn 't bring it to their attention in fear of them just pouring it into another glass. Our drink we 're also very warm, ended up drinking more of the water. And the waiter was never really our waiter

Good service, decent food, relaxing ambiance, and overall a relatively nice experience. However, tandoori chicken was not very good, and silverware was a little dirty. Cocktails were also unavailable the night I went and it was quite disappointing because their drink menu is what is what initially made me want to go there. But all in all, not bad.

The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is absolutely beautiful. I had the butter chicken with naan which I thought was very good. I had a Turkish Mule to drink and thought it was good. Service is friendly and attentive. We had a few different people show up to our table to check on us which gave off a family atmosphere to the restaurant. View menu

My first time here. Food was great!! Really good!! Service not so much. There was some kinda confusion about how to make a Lemonade. That I had to ask for three times and got Lemon Water. It tasted like lemon water. We had too many different people coming to our table, wasn't sure who was our server. But the Lady that there was so friendly, and Nice and Helpful she made our experience better. I will definitely get food here again, but probably take out.

Himalayan Chimney is a walk if you are ever in the UIUC area! The food is delicious and so tasteful and the restaurant itself has a very clean and modern interior. We were served very quickly, even if the place was packed. The servers were very attentive and helped us choose the appetizers, some of the items we ordered were the Samosa chat, tikki, calamari, tandoori chicken, lamb hacks, a few orders of garlic naan, and chai to drink.
