"This is, so far, the best Mexican food in Joplin. I would have given it a higher score if I didn't feel that my chile relleno was a bit past its prime. The flavors of the food were excellent overall. The service was decent, although we might have arrived right at a shift change. My husband absolutely loved everything—he really enjoyed the meal. The place could use a deep clean and some upgrades, but it's certainly not bad. I've dined at much worse establishments. We'll definitely be returning. Be sure to try their guacamole; it’s a must!"

"This was the best greens we have had in a long time!! I ordered the catfish with greens and Mac and cheese, while my husband had chicken wings, greens, and Mac and cheese. Our lunch also came with a serving of delicious sweet cornbread. Everything was excellent! I could have just made a meal out of the greens alone. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience."

"this place is a hidden gem. the love for detail was very noticeable and appreciated. When we arrived, we sat at the fireplace. all vibe immediately set, and if we don't sit by the fire, the outside is absolutely beautiful. I was shocked. my man got the butter beer drink with the keks (omg that keks was so dense and amazing) and it was amazing. as seriously the whip cream is so dense and tasty. total autumn vibes. I have the lavender blackberry drink and it was amazing. 10/10 only on the drinks. the server was so sweet and almost. our waters have never fallen 3/4. the spinach dip was phenomenal. so sulking and cheesy. our food was good too! I want to say I wish I had a steak and side because the cajun alfredo noddles were not my favorites, but the meat and sauce were big, regardless of it, and then the cupcakes at the end. I wanted to order a dozen. (smart marketing) and the bathroom omg fancy. all about beautiful amazing experience. will be back for drinks alone soon because the drinks were seriously the best I had in joplin."

"Having moved away from southwest Missouri several years ago, I recently had dinner at the Red Onion for the first time in years. The C.A.B. sirloin and house salad was delicious. The staff was very attentive and professional; they kept our drinks refreshed. I appreciated that the food was fresh and the menu is quite different from what you will find at local chain restaurants. The staff kindly let our party stay a few minutes past closing which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend the Red Onion when you are in Joplin!"

"This place is the place to go if you are in for a treat! It is a great Greek place with different and unique dishes! We got the Feta Dip, and that was addicting! They put on a great presentation for you and treat you very well, they can also make things gluten free! The Kasseri is one to watch and see as it is definitely fun, but I would make sure to get another appetizer with it! This is definitely the place to go for date night or to take a client for work.
