"This has to be the worst Mexican food restaurant in the nation, not only is the food horrible and way over priced, the service sucks, blows and leaks. The Restaurant was extremely slow for business, yet our waiter never did come back to check on anything. I would recommend going to Taco Bell for better food and service. I use to recommend many of my customers to go to Mandito's yet I will never ever send customers to Mandito's again. It is way over priced and horrible food and there is no customer service what so ever, save your money and go somewhere else. The waiter also short changed me."

Wife's quesadilla was great. My cheese enchiladas were small and rather poor.$5 for a small glass of iced tea might get one horse-whipped most places in Texas. We'll not go back.Food: 3/5

So disappointing. I was here in January and it was amazing. I couldn’t wait to come back. During the antique fair I learned they take shortcuts and hire new cooks. My food was cold and they switched out their famous chips for something else.. they tasted stale. So very disappointing. Go somewhere else during the fair.

We had a great experience at mandito's, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The food was very good. We really appreciated that they were about to close and due to their great hospitality they welcomed us. Thanks for your attention. We will return without a doubt. My children and I stopped here on our route. We were the only people in the restaurant. Due to this, I had low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food and salsa were very good. I had Taco Carbon. My children had a crunchy taco, beef quesadilla, and cheese quesadilla. We all liked our food. The waiter was very nice. We would stop there again. View menu

Then, at 8:12 PM, the same staff member came back to inform us that the rest of the guests had left and that we needed to clear our table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant just 12 minutes after closing! It was extremely discourteous. As a result of this experience, I won't be coming back and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is that the hostess and wait staff did a wonderful job; they were not to blame for what transpired.

Although atmosphere isn't typically a concern for takeout, it still did not impress me. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
