"Upon arrival the host was amazing and very welcoming. When we were seated my fiancé and I enjoyed the lovely view. But after our experience with our server I would never recommend Rusty hook while he is working there. Upon sitting down our server was rude and rushed us on what we would like to order. After ordering a appetizer and an entree for us to share the server then left with an attitude. I see this all the time since I worked at a restaurant and are in our twenties. He thought he wasn’t going to be tipped. After receiving no service from him I had to grab another waiter to grab us extra plates and drinks. When he finally showed up he asked if we wanted the check. Again trying to rush us out. I then asked for a dessert menu. After ordering the cheese cake he reply’s with an attitude “your just getting one?” He then comes back to us and slams two forks on the table, not on a napkin, not rolled up, not even on the side plates that I had to ask someone else for that we’re still sitting on the table! Especially On the table during covid. A server like that should never be at a restaurant, I wouldn’t even hire him at my business. Terrible guest service ,terrible experience, Rusty is a never again for me. I should of grabbed the manger to bring this to their attention but I just could not be there after he slammed the forks"

The food was great and the service was really good too. The only reason we didn’t do all stars was because the menu on Open Table didn’t match the restaurant menu. Restaurant menu was considerably smaller

I met friends who are visiting from Massachusetts, and staying in Fort Lauderdale at their second home. I am a recent MA transplant as well. I work in Boca so was looking for a place to meet in between. We had a great time! The view was lovely; food amazing and the waiter was excellent: funny, accommodating and knowledgeable. Awesome dinner! My husband and I both had a salad . It was delicious! I had the grouper which was amazing! My husband had the meatballs and loved them as well. Kareem was very accommodating. He arranged our table so that it was spaced apart from the other’s. He checked on us several times to make sure everything was ok and he was not our server. We will return on our next trip! Service: we had an excellent waiter he was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very friendly, his great customer service would be the reason I would return. Food: The meatballs were the best I ever had. My snapper was still bleeding! I mentioned this to our server he saw the blood and took the plate to the back, but he returned with the same plate and a message from the cook saying ‘I must have never had fresh fish because that’s how fresh fish is when it’s perfectly cooked’ It was insulting to say the least.
